Paizo To Make Kingmaker Bestiary... For D&D 5E!

If Pazio produces books for 5E, I will buy them. I’m not changing systems again anytime soon. 5E is perfect for teaching my kids D&D.

Paizo To Make Kingmaker Bestiary... For D&D 5E!

Maybe rather than doom and gloom, Paizo just wants to make more money? 5E is doing great and extra dough is never a bad thing. Pathfinder was there for me when 4E failed me. But when 5E came out, I found my system of preference. Is it perfect? Nope. But it’s easy and fun, especially useful when...

Paizo To Make Kingmaker Bestiary... For D&D 5E!

So let me get this straight... they’re doing a PF2E Kingmaker book.. and a 5E book essentially converts the things that need converted (monsters)

Would you rather we get more setting neutral content than adventures?

I’d love to have a setting a year built into an adventure book. Make a Spelljammer or Dark Sun book with setting material, monsters, races, classes and backgrounds, and a few adventures. Even take the Yawning Portal or Saltmire approach and convert a couple old adventures and update them. It...

D&D 5E To boxed text or not to boxed text

I'm very pro boxed text. To the point where I don't even try to run an adventure that doesn't have them. My brain can't come up with details like that on the fly, and I don't have the time to do it myself ahead of time. Now that I could deal with. Give me SOMEthing to work with... I would...

Seas of Vodari Kickstarter Interview with Shawn Ellsworth of Tribality

Oh. My. God. The current world that I run now (which is an alternate reality from the previous world, which ended when 3.5 ended) is based on a cataclysm that happened 1000 years ago (though it was because of a War of the Gods, and the Rakasta were the rulers) and the continent was shattered...

You Can Now Preorder The Acquisitions Inc Book On Amazon

The blurb doesn’t really say what the book is for someone who has never heard of this before.

D&D 5E Island/Sea based adventure to take characters from lvl 1 to 3 (or so)

My group just did a bunch of stuff on the island from the Tortle Package. Now they’re on the way to the Isle of Dread. But they did Phandelver before that... so they’re 5th level right now. I plan to do a few more island pit stops to give them more to do.

Manage Your Game With RPG Encounters

We all have ipads at our table and everyone has dndbeyond open for the characters. It's so much easier... I also own all of the books, but when play time comes, I have my resources on my ipad.

    Too weird for town....

I used to make a big deal about this. When monstrous races entered a town, people would be edgy. My one player's weretiger would always go into town in her hybrid form. Yes, weretigers are known for being good, but it's not like they're a major race. I would have townsfolk throw rotten tomatoes...

GameHole Con Hints At An "As Yet Unannounced Setting" for D&D This Year

You know what? If they make Spelljammer, I'll buy TWO copies (oooooo). One standard and one "collector's edition" assuming they do it. Now I just wait... I've waited this long, what's a couple more years?

Goodman Games' Next Reincarnation Is Expedition To The Barrier Peaks

Whatever agreement they have with WOTC prevents them from producing them in digital format. I was going back and forth just trying to get map files with no success...

Critical Role Could Critical Role launch their own RPG?

I personally would have zero interest in Critical Role if they made their own RPG or switched systems. Part of the charm is that they’re playing the same game people in my home play and we can connect with them.

Goodman Games' Next Reincarnation Is Expedition To The Barrier Peaks

I have the first two books, and I love them, however my only disappointment is that whatever deal they have with WOTC prevents them from publishing them in PDF format. I want printable maps!!

D&D 5E Jeremy Crawford Talks Sidekicks

As a DM, I personally love cohorts or sidekicks, as it adds another character personality into the mix. That was always my stipulation on cohorts is that they had to be different from the main PC. It's nice that they're codifying it for 5E, but in 3E, half the group had Leadership with a...

D&D 5E Art and Arcana: A visual History just arrived!

I paid $63.50 shipped plus tax. It’s definitely heavy and comes in a sturdy case. It comes with a little Tomb of Horrors notebook / sketchbook as well as a bunch of mini-posters. Not sure if it’s worth the $30 more but cool nonetheless.
