The boyfriend should be doing a lot of the heavy lifting. He knows her, he can talk to her. Maybe she's more willing to say what she wants to him. Get that dude to help you out, she's his friend.
This is 100% a player & DM issue, not an in-game issue. The OP said that his players don't seem to see that they're not acting like good guys, and he wants them to either act like good guys or lose the benefits of being good guys (ie paladinhood).

Is a wiki the right format? Seems to me that news items updated daily would be better off as a blog.

Speaking of marks, the Hobgoblin Soldier's Flail at-will power mentions that the target of his attack is marked... is there any mechanical effect to being marked by this monster?
FWIW, I think what they're trying to avoid is forcing the cleric to chose between fighting and healing/buffing. Now he can be a front-liner without sacrificing his comrades' well-being. That might be what you meant by walking bandaid, but I'm not sure.

It's *obvious* to anyone paying attention that Wotc is prejudiced against beardless gaming, and 4e continues this trend. A quick perusal of the attached screenshots proves my point.
The question is, can 4e be played beardless?
