IMC, I wouldn't worry too much about it. If the "animal" is in his natural environment, there really isn't any way to determine that the spell was cast by that bird over there, UNLESS it's a spell such as a ray. It would be pretty obvious that the spell emanated from the animal then...

It's way better to make shields out of Mythral than Adamantine. There is no real benefit to make it out of adamantine (other than it will be more durable that is). Adamantine --> Weapons Mythral --> Armors and Shields :)

Indeed, if you have a monk, he could get a bunch of his monk buddies, start a soccer team, win the championship against team Evil, and become filthy rich. Monks are very good at playing soccer. ;)

Well, actually I think it means that it bypasses the first 20 points of hardness of any material. An object that would be hardness 25, would really be hardness 5 to you, meaning that if you do 16 damage, you will take away 11 hp's from the item. Am I wrong ?
