Request for a much loved character... I posted my character Mithras many months back, but unfortunately no one has given him a try, so I'm reposting him (along with a few changes to his appearance). I hope that someone will give it a try this time and I would be endlessly appreciative of anyone...

The feat may not be as unreasonable as I expect. I haven't play-tested it to know, etc. I only have my initial reaction, which isn't exactly perfect. That's why I was hoping for some feedback here.

It is quite cinematic though!

The "why" is a lack of flying magic and the probability of the dragon flying off or simply staying in the air during combat.

If it is a grapple check, there seems to be no practical way to pull it off. When you teleport on the dragon's back, all you have is a movement action left, so no grapple.

Would a Tiny Monstrous spider be too powerful to use as a familiar?

"I'd first require a high Int or Spellcraft check to let the caster teleport to the right spot." Why? If it's a spot the caster can see, why couldn't he teleport there as per the spell describes? Teleport already has a built in mechanic for mistakes, why would there need to be another one?

Anyone know of any rules on having a monstrous spider famliar? I know that the FRCS has one for Hairy Spider from the Monsters of Faerun book, but anyone know of one for a normal spider?

I'm not saying that more then one character will be transported per spell, only the caster. The basics question is if only the caster Teleports (or Dimension Doors), can he do anything to stay on the dragons back beyond his own immediate turn? He wouldn't instantly fall since he IS on the...

Yep, it's something that's going to likely (planned) to happen in an upcoming game. I'm not sure how to resolve it. Some players may Dimension Door, some may Teleport.
