Teleporting on a flying dragon's back?

So, there is no clear RAW ruling on something like this?

Teleporting on a flying dragon's back?

If a character were to Teleport on top of a flying and hostile dragon's back, what would happen? Could he ride or hold on to the dragon? Would holding on be a standard action, so he could not do it on the round he teleports? Would he even be able to stay on if all he has is a movement action...

Building and running a temple, a practical guide?

One of the players in my campaign, a high level cleric, wants to build a temple. Anyone know of any good sources of info for building a temple, how to figure out how many worshipers it'll have, what kind of revenue, etc? Thanks guys!

A moral dilemma amidst ice and snow--what would you have done?

ForceUser, yeah we modified it to fit our campaign. Our group runs a FR campaign, with me as the "main" DM, but we all take turns as DM as well. The adventure wer'e in right now is based around my character, a exiled avariel (wings were cut off for crimes against his people, and no I have never...

Campaign set in the late Stone Age/early Bronze Age...

Religious faith is very common (most of the region is monotheistic), but actual magic and clerical abilities are nearly non-existent. Magic feeds from life, merely holding a magic item will incur hit point damage. The more powerful the item, the more it feeds on nearby life. Those within a foot...

Campaign set in the late Stone Age/early Bronze Age...

Got both of those too, lol. The campaign is going to be in a desert setting, so Sandstorm is a must. Any books, articles, or suggestions in dealing with a very low magic, low tech campaign?

    Character secrets

In one game I was the main villain and nemesis of the party, in disguise among them of course. :)

Why didn't they change Slay Living?

Yeah, I agree that it should have been changed. There's no reason to change all the other ones and not this one. It's probably WoTC's goal to make clerics more desirable by making them more powerful then other classes. Not the way to do it, in my opinion.

A moral dilemma amidst ice and snow--what would you have done?

The DM for last weekend's game (we take turns on DM'ing) ran this encounter, which btw was a ton of fun :), but we definately got some odd and interesting results... Our high level party (18th) is traveling across a vast glacier (the Great Glacier, on our way to Sossal, for you FR fans) to...

We turned my D&D game into a musical/opera...

Yeah, yeah I know... I kept forgetting to change it. The players rather liked it being wrong though, lol, so I kept it :).

We turned my D&D game into a musical/opera...

Thanks for all the positive comments guys! My wife is tickled pink at reading them and so am I :). Just wish I could post the music for it, hehe. Anyway, just for those interested the first thing her and I made for the Nat Wyler "saga" was a short marionette (punch and judy style) play. Thought...

We turned my D&D game into a musical/opera...

All this begins with this entry on Nat Wyler’s Bell in the city of Phlan in the Moonsea. This small inn is little more then an ale-soaked dive with a large common sleeping room above it. People with few coins in their pockets can gorge on bland food, drown in cheap ale, then stagger upstairs to...

Instant Fortress, can you furnish it?

I'm trying to find out if it is possible to furnish an Instant Fortress, and reduce it's size with the furnishings and items inside. The SRD mentions "It cannot be deactivated unless it is empty." I'm not sure if that means people or items. I can't imagine that the spirit of the rules mean that...

AoO and Readied Actions (Rules Question)

It's not a double AOO at all, I'm not sure why you see it that way. As was mentioned, on his turn, could not the character simply attack him (instead of readying an action), and then get an AOO in the caster's turn? That's two attacks on the caster, why is readying an action to attack the caster...

[FR] Could there be Peace between Dalesmen and the Drow? (my players stay out!)

If all these people come together for some kind of meeting... and the PC's are organizing this... are they in for a much bigger mess then they expected. Should make for exciting times indeed. Sounds great overall :).

[FR] Could there be Peace between Dalesmen and the Drow? (my players stay out!)

House Jaelre itself is mostly Neutral Evil, not Chaotic Evil. Lords of Darkness has a good bit of info on this group.

[FR] Could there be Peace between Dalesmen and the Drow? (my players stay out!)

Hmm... the Zhents could ally with the drow, and if Cormyr brings in forces some of the dales could go with Sembia, some with Cormyr. Is it in Cormyr's interest to keep the Dales independent? Would they be interested in expanding east a bit? They may not have a choice to keep the Zhents and...
