I remember my wife's first character - a 1st edition druid for a Temple of Elemental Evil campaign I was running. Man, that was a fun campaign. She hasn't played in a game since, but since I saw her thumbing through my Babylon 5 RPG books I'm hoping that may change... :)

I almost always tell my players what AC/save DC's they're trying to hit. Like Stannis said, it's one less thing I have to worry about. I'm considerably more tight-lipped when it comes to Search/Spot, Open Lock, and Disable Device checks.

I've finished a 3.5 conversion of A1 and just about finished A2. I'm planning on submitting the adventures to Morrus when I've got all four converted.
