Have you been disillusioned by the Forgotten Realms?

I love the Realms - it's become my "default" world for high-magic fantasy campaigns.

How good are the various supplements to Eberron?

Priceless. Just priceless. Depending on how your players handled this it could have made (or make) an unforgettable campaign.

CoC: Delta Green. I need some info

Feh. IMO CoC d20 is just one big debacle. When it was released it was well received (seemingly by everyone except the BRP diehards), and then mis-managed into obscurity. The system is no longer in print or supported by Chaosium. Even Pulp Cthulhu -the d20 "setting" is going to be released...

How good are the various supplements to Eberron?

I agree the content is good - I'm in no way sorry that I purchased the book. It's just not as comprehensive as Races of Faerûn.

    :p mmmm.... Delta Green....

CoC: Delta Green. I need some info

That's what I thought. This thread is just one big spoiler - but apologies anyway. :)

CoC: Delta Green. I need some info

FYI there's one on Ebay now, cheap. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=2547&item=5215679203&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

CoC: Delta Green. I need some info

DG d20 is being released by Eos Press - not Pagan. http://www.eos-press.com/products-dg.html But Pagan *is* notoriously lax in updating their website.

How good are the various supplements to Eberron?

My two coppers: Shadows of the Last War: Good. Whispers of the Vampire's Blade: Meh. Some nice set pieces, but otherwise a largely forgettable adventure that really does nothing to advance the story from the SotLW. Grasp of the Emerald Claw: Very Good. Very "pulpy" and action-packed, but...

The greys are constructs created by the mi-go.

CoC: Delta Green. I need some info

True. And the cool thing is since the organization is grouped into anonymous cells, the members of one cell would not necessarily know the members of another - even if they're working in the same agency.

CoC: Delta Green. I need some info

The short answer: Delta Green is *currently* an unofficial, illegal conspiracy within the US Government. Its existence is known only to its members and a VERY select few. The members are aware of the "strange stuff" - DG's purpose is to combat and protect the citizenry of the US from...

Best resouce for Dark Ages game?

While Cthulhu Dark Ages does provide a fairly decent snapshot of the dark ages, Chaosium offers some historical non-fiction on their site in support of the RPG: http://catalog.chaosium.com/default.php?cPath=45&osCsid=7d5d096ca1ff59f5ccba7e893263ef72 The Atlas of the year 1000 is particularly...

Castle & Crusades - Monsters and Treasure Book used in DnD?

Heh. Y'know it never occured to me that "regular D&D" = "3rd edition D&D". To me, "regular D&D" is still the basic set. Oh well, that probably explains why I like C&C so much.

Castle & Crusades - Monsters and Treasure Book used in DnD?

I'm still waiting for my pre-ordered copy to make it to my door, but judging from the preview it should be as difficult to "reverse engineer" C&C to AD&D as it is to convert AD&D to C&C. In other words not too difficult. ;)

    New WotC D&D Adventures?

AFAIK, the only other WotC adventure on the schedule for this year is the first adventure in the new Forgotten Realms adventure path. WotC has it due in September, I believe.

Castles & Crusades standing the test

I'm also running an "off and on" game of C&C using The Keep on the Borderlands when my usual Eberron game is off a week. My players love the 1st edition feel, and the quickness of the game. Like der_kluge though, some of the designers choices had us scratching our heads (the encumbrance...

Just Curious ... Hom many come from AD&D?

Started playing with the Blue Basic set at age 11 in 1980. Continued playing through high-school, college, marriage, two kids, and I look forward to playing into retirement. :)

    Gamma World d20

2nd edition is goofy? I own all the editions of GW, and to me 4th seems no less "goofy" than 2nd - game mechanics don't affect a game's flavor, IMO. As for lethality, 1st/2nd rules allow for just as much lethality as 4th - don't be fooled by the HD=CON mechanic. The lack of setting...

    Gamma World d20

That's 'cause you haven't played 1st or 2nd edition. The 1st edition rules managed to do in approximately 64 pages what GW6 took two rulebooks to accomplish. :)
