They do. According to TLG's errata, they carry 8 ENC worth of stuff, and if worn reduce their encumbrance by 1.

I dunno. While I agree some encumbrance systems are a pain, I wouldn't go as far as to say "they never work." I'm also loathe to use GM fiat, mainly because with an established system the players know how much they can carry right off the bat - without me having to constantly remind them as...

Ditto here. GW d20, while a decent product, was too different from "old school" GW for my taste - Darwin's World on the other hand, gets the old vs. new mix right. Definitely worth a look.

I voted for Greyhawk. I'm running C&C as an old-school Greyhawk campaign, and it's working very well. My players are enjoying the nostalgia, and the system makes conversion from 1st edition/2nd edition a snap.

According to Paizo's site #122 was mailed out on the 22nd, so it should start arriving in mailboxes shortly. Scuttlebutt on #123 is that it'll include The Quicksilver Hourglass - a 30th-level epic adventure. I'm definitely looking forward to that.
