There's really a pretty stark difference in how various groups play. It's something I need more help in understanding, but I just have never run into a major issue changing things I see as unbalanced, or unfit for my campaigns. Someone is free to bring up their concerns about it, or even argue...

DM Fiat. I never allowed my group to abuse the Bag of Rats. It's silly and had no place in the type of game I was running. My players never had any issues with changes I made, and how I never got caught up in the technicality of a printed rule. RAW ≠ Correct.

I don't think Wizards could do right by anyone it seems. People want to hate Wizards, regardless of validity. This will be the last edition that WotC produces with the brand, if I had to guess.
