The Menzo book is a separate suppliment and was worked on well after Into The Unknown :p We worked on Into the Unknown with a good group that just wanted to do a neat Dungeon Survival book for 4e.

If I were a betting-man (and I am), I would say 5e will be released on the 40th Anniversary of the game in January of 2014.

You can go to Staples or Office Depot and pick up presentation/easel paper that has 1" squares. It's not unlike Gaming Paper.
