It will take you a hell of a time to make a list with 100 names in that way!

The Name generator you find here: http://spitfire.ausys.se/johan/names/default.htm can also generate name lists from files, so you dont get dwarven names when you want elven, and its FREE. So IMO better than EBoN :)

Thank you all for your answers. You really go in-depth *thumbs-up* But at last i have found this FREE and GREAT name list generator with almost all fantasy races, so, i guess that problem is out of the world. :cool: And to the Blacksmith thing,,, il will have to use my imagination.

This EBoN is very nice but if you want to unlock your downloaded Forgotten Realms name list youll have to pay 6£ to some guy in Finland!! Isnt there a free name list on the entire net? Perhaps one of you guys who have registered EBoN can post the name list from Forgotten Realms here?

No, what i meant was that not every blacksmith can offer the same weapons. How do i know what this particualy blacksmith have on his shelves?

Maybe not a bad idea with names, but what about weapons at the blacksmith?

What can a DM do when the party arrives at a metropolis? You need to invent a name for every person they meet, invent prices at each tavern they come too and tell them which weapons the smith has in his shop. ITS IMPOSSIBLE!!! At least to me, it has happened more than once the players laughed...

Well, myeself i voted Superb. I started reading the 2nd ED Players Handbook and never got playing. But then when i bought the 3rd ED it was much MUCH simpler.

Gee, these are very expensive! :eek::rolleyes: Is that really necessary just for one single city? But, i guess it is. :o I think ill go with Bluffside since its the cheapest and doesnt belong to a campaign setting. I was planning on using it in Forgotten Realms. Or maybe Seven Cities, but...

I would like to buy a city with maps and so on, but i cant find any. :( I dont want an entirely new campaign setting like Windhaven, just a city to my own campaign. Can you recommend one?
