I was thinking of buying some ESDs from WoTC recently and I was wondering what the general feeling was on the boards about that. I kind of want to get ESDs but I also like the actual book in my hands too (though I can imagine how difficult that might be depending on what you're looking for...

Vorpal only is effective for the original crit range or does it apply to your current crit range?

Why not? Why is it that you can't trip an opponent with a 2H? Because it says make a melee touch attack? When is it a good idea to attempt to trip an opponent? Or not to try and trip an opponent for that matter.

So you don't need to roll to see if you hit the baddy AC but you only need to see if you confirm it's a critical?

It's pretty important I can't imagine having a extremely ugly cover (say neon blue/green/whatever). It should look professional not like a 4 year old drew it.
