"I... studied... with some priests... as a child." He pauses a bit thinking on what to say next. "I suppose these ones will be different if they're public about it."

    D&D 5E [IC] Creamsteak's Storm King's Thunder: Waterdeep

At the Calling Horn Inn you find that they have an impressive selection of ales and wines in the cellar. The locals are quite polite and tell stories that, "The trolls are on the run. Fire giants have been combing the Evermoors enslaving them where they can. Trolls are usually lazy, but running...

    D&D 5E [OOC] Creamsteak's Storm King's Thunder

I have a couple games in a lull, both on enworld and in my roll20 group. I think it's a combination of people's summer schedules and some of the games have hit hard decision points, in some cases life or death. I'm actually waiting for the players to commit to some kind of action, and not let...

    Rise of the Necromancer IC

Boros can't quite keep up with the pace of the conversation, but he's happy enough with the gist of this. He mentally starts counting his coins. "So two lies are required. One to get the hero, another to get his companions. I wonder if there are any subordinates that are bitter or jealous in...

D&D 5E [IC] Creamsteak's Princes of Elemental Evil II

The turtle's last visible expression before being put away is some kind of panic, or something more primal like hatchlings trying to make it from the shore to the ocean. To the west: The ceiling is 50 feet above water level. Its "stars" are small patches of luminescent lichen.

Boros asks the waitress "I've had a lot of heavy food. Something lighter might be nice?" Looking to the conversation, "Vices and weaknesses sounds most applicable."

    D&D 5E [OOC] Creamsteak's Storm King's Thunder

It's not a requirement, but I personally find limited options tend to get me motivated at times. Actually that gives me a weird thought for a game.

    D&D 5E [OOC] Creamsteak's Storm King's Thunder

With one player partially absent for the week do we want to recruit someone new at this point during the lul? I've got an encounter for the next day in town if the goal is to at least stay the night. Someone with the bard/cleric/druid persuasion would probably be good.

"There's cheating and then there's cheating. I wouldn't want to play a rigged game, no fun for either person. If you can make your own luck though... well... I've never been lucky."

Boros chimes in, "So what exactly did we want to do? I'm up for anything. Maybe a card game?"

D&D 5E [IC] Adventures in Ashwell: The Edge of Dispater

The spellcaster fails his save but not his concentration. You throw the sphere connecting with the lesser Ciphrang. The creature screams out in horror and its entire body turns to salt, the sphere now embedded somewhere in the middle of it. The horrible things attack, one missing Rhagnall who...

D&D 5E [IC] Adventures in Ashwell: The Edge of Dispater

You notice that (1) the spell cast was 4th level, Conjure Minor Ciphrang which can summon lesser devils. Also, you're pretty sure that orb is a Chorae, a creation of negation magic (The "Aporos") that is the antithesis to arcane spellcasters, the more powerful the caster the stronger the negation.

    Kilvo still hits the thing.

D&D 5E [IC] Adventures in Ashwell: The Edge of Dispater

Go for it. Also sort of gamist, but the spellcasters can tell with a DC 10 arcana that the guy is concentrating on that summon spell.
