Lucien drops his mace and rummages through his pack, soon producing a coil of silk rope.

Devlin left his tent behind to cut down on weight.

Devlin, having no knowledge of deserts or sandstorms, will go along with the majority.

Luicen again takes aim with his mace, going for a single solid strike rather than multiple blows. ooc: mace attack on nixie. (1d20+7=14). Not sure if a 14 hits, but if it does then mace damage on nixie (1d8+2=9).

Lucien tries a different tack, attempting to render the nixie unconscious with a single blow. He sizes up his held opponent and takes a measured swing with his mace. ooc: Not sure what all the plusses and minuses are, so I'll leave the roll up to you, Rae. Lucien is +7 to hit with the mace.

Lucien continues the attack, hoping to at least keep the fey distracted long enough for his companions to subdue her. ooc: Mace & handaxe attacks = 8 & 10.

ooc: As far as I know, Devlin is ready. Unless I missed something.

Lucien steps up and unleashes a double attack on the remaining nixie. ooc: Mace & handaxe attacks on nixie = 25 & 14, possible critical = 7, damage = 7 & 6.

Lucien looks from Rinya to Richard to the nixies. Apparently his words have fallen on deaf ears on both sides. He steps up to the closest nixie, not knowing if he can even hurt them with his mundane weapons. ooc: Intitiative (1d20+6=20). I'll post an action once I see who acts ahead of Lucien.

"Sorry, my friend. Since my donkey won't be coming on the trip with us I will need to rearrange my own belongings." With that, Devlin begins inventorying his belongings and deciding on what to leave behind.

Lucien watches the exchange in silence for a while, concentrating on their diminutive visitor. Finally, he speaks. "You've come a long way from home, little one, to give us this message. I think you should tell us exactly what it is you fear will happen if we continue." ooc: Knowledge...

ooc: Given Devlin's lack of fighting prowess, more tanks are appreciated. At least by him. :)

Lucien, once awake, draws his weapons and concentrates on the area where the disturbance was noticed. ooc: mace & handaxe readied, Listen +10, Spot +9 (+12/+11 if undead)

"We went to Allimon in search of him, but we never did find him. Probably a good thing, too. At least for him."

Devlin looks over at Gur. "I don't think Sullivan found a tunnel across the world, merely a mine that went too far down into the realm of the dark elves."

Lucien will volunteer to take the final watch, so he can watch the sunrise.

"If we are to ride, can someone recommend a good horsetrader in this city so I can purchase a mount?" asks Devlin.

ooc: Lucien wants to bring his horse along, even if the others don't have one. It's his animal companion, after all. :)
