    Dungeon Crawl Classics

I will also throw in a good word. I think that the modules do tend to stick to the philosphy embodied by the introductory text so if that is your kind of gaming (and admittedly it is not for everyone), I think you will be pleased with the modules. I also liked the fact that the series, as a...

Green Ronin: Delay in Freeport Trilogy?

If Mr. Pramas or someone else in the know on this can respond, that would be awesome. I called my FLGS yesterday looking to see when they would get in the 5th anniversary edition of the trilogy. The individual with whom I spoke claimed that there was some manner of printing/distribution...

Boston Gamers: Who is looking for a game?

OK...inspired by the "Lonesome Gamer" thread and the fact that there appears to be a number of recent posts by people in the Boston/Cambridge/MetroWest area that are looking for gaming groups (myself included! :p ), I thought I would start this thread. My hope is that this thread is a little...

    Solaris

No...you're not alone. I think part of the problem was that a film version had already been made by a Russian director and, among critics, it was extraordinarily well-received. I think Soderbergh was in a bit of a corner in terms of bringing something new to the table. Here is a profile of...

    A good leather dicebag?

Anyone know where to get a dicebag made out of leather? Personally, I am looking for something that doesn't really stand out. Just a simple bag, made out of brown or black leather. No skulls, dragons, etc. thank you... :D

    Good 1st level modules

WoTC has freely available 1st level adventures. I have not run all of them, but the ones I have run have been fun. They are available here: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/oa/20030530b I think people will probably agree that The Burning Plague is probably the most popular of these...

    Leaving Indy for 2006?

Hmmm...I assume with GenCon SoCal, its unlikely that GenCon will get pushed any farther west (maybe a poor assumption). I would love to see it come East for purely selfish reasons, but I would bet that it stays in the Midwest. Perhaps Chicago?

    Firefly

Isn't that because a lot of the people who saw it did so at an authorized pre-screening at GenCon? I don't know, but I thought that was the case, which would be a huge difference... :D
