    I love D&D!

LOL. Put it in perspective. I've been playing D&D for around 25 years. D&D has been in its death spiral at least 6 times that I can remember in my tenure. I have faith. D&D is a survivor because it is the greatest game in the world. I'm glad you've joined the fun!

    10:1 illegal downloads

Ah, I see now. Sorry about that. No, I don't share numbers. Even if I am privy to them, I’m bound by confidentiality and the law not to share them. The interviews? One’s exclusive to EN World, one exclusive to IvC2…I don’t know how these things work.

    10:1 illegal downloads

See the clarification from Morrus above. I means there were ten times illegal PDF downloads than there were legit PDF sales.

    10:1 illegal downloads

It's actually not that hard. We know how many PDFs were sold. The Scribd website both tracks and published the number of downloads of a particular product. At the very least we know how many downloads were done on that site vs. the ones sold. There are certainly other downloads on other sites...

Oh...oh...Oh! Well since you put it that way...

Forked Thread: Ryan Dancey - D&D in a Death Spiral (Keep it Real)

Sorry, it seemed like a bit of a non sequitur give the subject. As a humble developer, I have opinions on these things, but I don't have enough knowledge of the facts and figures to speak intelligently on the subject here on EN World. Sorry. :o

Forked Thread: Ryan Dancey - D&D in a Death Spiral (Keep it Real)

::blink, blink:: Ah, well...ah, I don't think I understand the question. Or at the very least, I think I may be missing some context.

LOL. But I'm not a modron. I live under a different caste system. In that one, my wife is more powerful than Primus could ever dream of being. B-)

    I love D&D!

Indeed! I love D&D, and if I didn't I sure as hell wouldn't be doing what I do. I don't care what edition you play. We are all D&D fans. D&D is awesome. Go play some friggen' D&D this weekend and have friggen' fun! I'm about to do that very soon with some fun playtest stuff we've cooked up.

I agree. They're part of the D&D tradition. I cannot comment on the potential appearance of any monster.

I know that Piratecat is gathering questions for a potential interview. We have given some reactions. You may see more in the near future. That's all I know. No.

DDM: Player's Handbook Heroes - Dissapointed?

Well, we've been putting up previews. Looking at the ones on my desk, and looking at the photo previews, I don't think the photos do the minis justice. The strong lighting mutes the details. Here are the links to those articles: Martial Heroes 1 Divine Heroes 1 Arcane Heroes 1 Primal Heroes 1...

DDM: Player's Handbook Heroes - Dissapointed?

Well, you can color me a corporate man or whatever, but I have these guys sitting on my desk right now (Bill Slavicsek delivered them to our desks yesterday, the gaming equivalent of Santa that he is) and I think they look great. And they’re definitely of rare quality or better. I'm not just...

Forked Thread: Ryan Dancey - D&D in a Death Spiral (Keep it Real)

Forked from: Ryan Dancey - D&D in a Death Spiral With the exception of Sean Reynolds, none of Paizo’s full-time creative team worked full-time for old TSR (and he’s the new guy!). Erik started at WotC, James Jacobs started at WotC. Jason started with the Living Greyhawk campaign. James...

No you are not missing any updates to the green dragons. They were just miss keyed into the compendium. I've put in a request to update those entries. Thanks for the question.

    Dungeon Delve feedback for WotC

Well Look at That Hey all, guess what I found out. We do provide map files for our adventures, and have been doing it for a while. Here's one for the last compiled issue of Dungeon Dungeon 162 Galleries Better yet, it's on the free side of our website. How about that for awesome? I knew...

    Dungeon Delve feedback for WotC

Yeah, some of the Hall of the Giant Kings are going for that much as well. I know that was looked into back in the early days of the product. I think there were some problems with the idea, but I don't remember the particulars, so I can't speak intelligently about the subject. Don't I know it.

    Dungeon Delve feedback for WotC

No there's not a monthly vote. You've made your case here and other places. We know there is a desire for us to do that, and it is a strong desire, but if it is a choice between doing this within the course of a couple months, or update the character builder and the compendium with all the PH2...

    Dungeon Delve feedback for WotC

And you do. The D&Di team is constantly listening to the people who post on the boards, here and on the Wizards of the Coast website, the people who send in e-mail, who send in bug reports, and members of focus groups, and they look at the numbers of how many users are using what part of the DDi...
