Give me your virtual tabletop xp

Basically I've just been using downloads available on the Paizo website. I take the PDFs into Photoshop, and make jpegs of the pictures and maps. Since I am a VoIP, I run it like I run a home game, just using the virtual table-top instead of a battlemap.

Give me your virtual tabletop xp

I've been running Age of Worms on Fantasy Grounds II and a VoIP client for the last couple months and it's been a blast! It takes a little bit to get used to the software, but once you do it runs very much like any other D&D game you'll play, and moves as fast as table-top play. Oh, and with...

Is WoTC even relevant to you anymore?

I can live with that.

Is WoTC even relevant to you anymore?

Well, I can't speak for all of us but... I sure am glad you are still having fun playing D&D/d20 and still look forward to the new releases for Necromancer games. I do too! I think if your game went under, or that you were not excited about any of the products on the market, I'd be sad. Keep...

Wasn't there supposed to be a big errata push?

Trust me, I realize those things. All of them are excellent reasons to do errata. Here's how much I believe in having a good errata process...I actually volunteered for this job. Pretty dumb, eh? ;) My point about the download numbers is more to do with scope. I've read some fan-generated...

Wasn't there supposed to be a big errata push?

Oh...yeah...nevermind what I said before. Razz is right. We love to hand-wave. Yes, I'm joking. I know it's cool to be snarky on the Internet and all, but come on folks. I promise you that if you have questions, I'll do my best to give you serious and honest answers. But this is the first...

Wasn't there supposed to be a big errata push?

Because sometimes the first solution you see is not the best solution. That’s one of the reasons why it’s good to have a conversation about these things. Sometimes the solution doesn't mesh well organized play initiatives; sometimes a solution doesn't sit well with all the stakeholders...

Wasn't there supposed to be a big errata push?

Hi Devyn, Sure, say you appreciate it, and then rake me other the coals…I see how you are. ;) I did say it would be a little controversial. To be honest it wasn’t the original plan I touted when this project was thrust in my lap those months ago (thank you, Mr. Jesse Decker! :\). I had in...

    New FAQ

    1) Read my post above. 2) Take a deep breath. 3) Re-read my post above. It's okay. It's some fluff about dwarven beards, not something to raise the blood preasure. :D

Wasn't there supposed to be a big errata push?

Sounds like you and I see eye to eye on the whole errata thing. I guess that's a good sign. :D

    New FAQ

Not as roundabout as you may think! :heh: As for me, I have been an EN World lurker for years. You don't have to post a lot to find these forums enlightening. As for getting stuff changed in the FAQ, we tend not to change things without pretty serious discussion, but we will look at things...

Wasn't there supposed to be a big errata push?

We have released some errata—very pressing bits—from Drow of the Underdark and Expedition to the Demonweb Pits since or around that original announcement. They’ve gone up as special articles on the Wizards of the Coast website. I know what you are all thinking—it’s not enough, and you’re...

    New FAQ

Pit of alchemist fire aside, questions about dwarven beards, their importance, their rate of growth, etc., ad nauseam, are frequently asked questions. And they are some of our more normal questions about the fluffier side of D&D. :heh: So, here’s the story. This particular question was slated...

    Dungeon #112 has arrived

Maure Castle -- Dungeon Goodness Howdy Everyone, I was lucky enough to get an early copy of issue #112, and immediately set up a home game to treat some local RPGA players and an old friend visiting from Iceland to Maure Castle. This past Saturday we have a marathon 8-1/2-hour session(our...

    How to make your donation!

I just contributed $50 via Expeditious Retreat Press. I just want to wish a warm thank you to everyone who makes this site possible. If it weren't for the great help the RPGA has received from EN World community members some people may have gone without their D&D games at Gen Con and other show...

[RPGA Volunteer] I didn't get a GenCon refund. Help, please.

Thanks Piratecat. All I can say is about it is...what Piratecat said. Sorry I can't do more, but it's not really my side of the RPGA. Ian does know about the problem (I brought up these posts in conversation today) and that he is actively working on a solution. For those of you who GMed three...

[RPGA Volunteer] I didn't get a GenCon refund. Help, please.

I talked to Ian Richards about it. He is looking into the refunds, but it involves two companies comparing notes, which can take more than a couple of days. I will make sure to keep it on the radar.

[RPGA Volunteer] I didn't get a GenCon refund. Help, please.

You don't want to e-mail troy, you want to e-mail the RPGA at rpgahq@wizards.com. I was not aware that folks were not getting their refunds. I will push this forward first thing on Monday morning.

[OT] My RPGA Card Won Me $35! Whats in your Wallet?

MacBeth, your story made my morning. Thanks for the wonderful story, and congratulations on your RPGA nerditude! Oh, and what's in my wallet? Aside from the typical (drivers license, credit cards, insurance cards, ape counters for a great ape fighting game), there is my Dungeons & Dragons...
