Epic all the way for this gamer. :) I always sem to end up weaving tales of Gods, artifacts and huge world threatening plans rather than the low key stuff. Like my current campaign- I've got a Worm that Walks seeking to open the gates to the far realm and bring the elder gods in all their glory...

The Western Heartlands are my choice- not only because I find them interesting in a standard sword n sorcery way, but also because I have a stack of 2nd edition books on most of the rest of Faerun. :)

I absolutely love new monster books. The more I can get the better- mostly for the look on my resident rules lawyer's face when he realises he doesn't have a clue what he's facing. heheheheh. Besides, it makes things interesting for the veterans when they don't keep fighting the same monsters...

I'd have to go with either Sunless Citadel or Crucible of Freya- leaing more toward Freya, simply because of the potential it has for expansion and continued play. On the other hand, any of the Challenge of Champions scenarios from Dungeon work well as a fun opening to a campaign.

As far as Marvel goes, I know the Hulk was recruited as War during the Heroes Reborn period- and he finally went at it with good ol' Juggy.

I prefer to bring new PCs in at one level below the lowest level party member. The way the XP system for 3e runs, they seem to catch up to the rest of the party within a few sessions anyway. Rather than punishing a player for dying I much prefer to 'honour the dead' so to speak. Role playing...

Excellent, I hadn't realised there were goodies like that in RoF. Conveniently, I just ordered it ten minutes ago..I know two of my players will be happy now- One is an Aasimar Paladin of Helm, the other an Earth Genasi Fighter.
