    Building a Mounted Combat Fighter?

Some Feats to consider: Trample, and Animal Afinity (3.5 feat gives +2 to Handle Animal and Ride) PrC to consider: Hospitilar. Exchange the level of Barb for 2 levels of Cleric (grab War Domain to get Weapon Focus in a weapon you will use alot). The Hospitilar offers bonus feats, full...

Do PrC's count towards XP penalties?

Use WCrawford (as I replied to that thread) as the name and penalty as a keyword search and you should find it readlily. Ed's responces are towards the bottom of the thread.

    Cleric multiclassed with Cleric

I've told other people who rely on the SRD that the SRD isn't intended to play the game, but it is intended to allow people to write DnD/d20 compatable material. Sometime we all need the reminder that the SRD contains only most of the rules, not all. :)

    Another alignment question

Creative use. But, just because a person is Lawful Good doesn't mean that they have the correct information (if they have any at all) or that their home is a secure place to store treasure (thieves don't care that the home owner is Lawful Good). And what happens to the Lawful Good person whose...

Do PrC's count towards XP penalties?

No, check the WotC 3.5 Q&A board to the thread that Ed Stark specifically stateds that this was left out in error. 3.5 DnD is full of editing mistakes such as this, unfortunately.

    Persistent Spell

Actually any spell with a fixed range, and a range of Touch doesn't count.

    ECL & feats

First, since the Fey HD is only 1, you completley replace that with a level of Sorcerer. You will have no Fey levels. You will be a 3rd level Sorcerer with a +4 Level Adjustment. You will have 3 Feats, 1 for 1st level, 1 for 3rd level and the Dodge feat for being a Pixie.

"Half damage from slashing attacks"--what is halved?

To simplify everything remove the half damage to slashing and add DR 5/bludgeoning that is printed in the 3.5 MM or RSRD.

    FAQ Update 8/20/2003

    (13) Clerics spontaneously casting cure spells spend no additional action. And those Clerics that wish to take a full round action, may metamagic their cure/inflict spells that are spontaneously cast.

    yet another AoO question

If the only movement you do is take a 5' step, you don't suffer an AoO for movement.

What's the lich for clerics called?

The Forgotten Realms has a number of 'lich-like' undead. Alhoons (Illilich) are mindflayers that become lich like undead. Originally presented in the Forgotten Realms Monstrous Compendium for 2nd edition. Archliches are good aligned spellcasters who basically 'forgot they died'. These were...

    D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5] Elixir Confusion

Also, not all Elixirs use a spell of 3rd level or less. If in your own game you want a liquid form of a spell over lvl 3, make it an Elixir.

Help! NIGHTFALL! I need your help!

As far as PrCs apply to Wizards, they lose bonus feats and familiar progression. Sorcerers lose familiar progression as well. Most of these PrCs have more limited skill selection, as well. Personally, the only Wizard/Sorcerer PrC that I would even consider is the Arcane Devotee from the FRCS...

    PrC=No more Domain Spells/Features?

The way I generally do this is to allow the Domain based turning to be used exactly as if the character in question was turning undead. Example: A Paladin who gain the Air domain would turn Earth creatures at the same level he would turn undead and rebuke Air creature the same. Any PrC that...
