If a creature had Resistance 10 Acid, would they check their resistance for each acid arrow in effect (thus taking no damage since each arrow only does 2d4), or would it be for each rounds worth of damage?

From the staff description, it sure sounds like you're casting a spell. :confused:

If a mage casts Acid arrow twice on the same target would they take 2d4 per round or 4d4? Using the stacking rule, I'd think no. But that makes the spell much weaker than other spell like Scorching Ray or even Magic Missle, which you can hit someone round after round.

Basicly I'm trying to find away to get around Wind Wall and Storm Rage (basicly a personal windwall from Magic of Faerun). Once these spells are up, an Archer is SOL. :( One spell shouldn't emasculate an entire class (or build). Guess I need phase arrows or something along those lines.

Hmm, the archer I'm thinking about has quickdraw and a glove of storing. Do you need a free hand to cast a spell from a staff? If not, then all you have to do is cast the spell and drop the staff (or store in glove of storing).

Can you use spells from wands/staves/scrolls to Imbue Arrows?

Would an Arcane Trickster get sneak attack damage for each ray, even if they are all on the same target?

Would arrows shot from a Bow of Force (Arms & Equipment) ignore a windwall? The description says that arrows shot from it become force attacks and bypass DR. The prereq is magic missile. Would SR apply?

Can you cast Wall of Fire, Wall of Force, Wind Wall, or Blade Barrier in mid air? I always thought you had to cast them on the ground or some other horizontal surface.
