Personally, I love psionics, one of the reasons is that I do not particularly like "standard" fantasy settings. for me psionics adds just an extra bit of flavour.

Back in highschool (or the dutch variant anyway) we would put money together to buy for instance the warhammer starterbox, or the ADD rulebooks, but nowadays everybody is either a college student with a job, or a working person, so we don't split the costs for the books. we do for the food and...

Mainly just the usual: PHB DMG MM MMII, although everyone in our group owns one of the class books. Dragon gets used from time to time (i love the swashbucklers from last issue).

I like the glass golem very much, especially the description of the sounds when they move. they remind me of the lady of the windows (or something like that) from tad Williams' Otherland.

my bi-weekly gamins session got canceled, so I can't play for 5!! weeks :mad: :( Furthermore, living in Holland reduces the chance on snow this winter to about 5% or so :mad: And living in Holland, I have to wait for ages until new RPG books are in the stores :mad: So that would be it :D

In our campaign battling monsters is not as common as having to deal with humanoids of an intelligence such that they are suspectable to reason, but ofcourse when we have to deal with creatures that only act through force, we kick the sh*t out of it (quite literaly sometimes :D) S

In our group we use a chess board, with squares of about 3X3 cm. We find this convenient because it is very sloppy. We find very tight miniature rules for dnd somewhat constraining. S

LOL :D this somewhat reminds me of the stonecutter episode from the simpsons, it ruled :D there should also be a special hello wave and a special knock-on-the-door-knock such that you'll immediately know when there's gamers at the door :D
