Who leads in the marching order?

I personally prefer campaigns in which it would be the best choice to send forward a bard or other charismatic character, as a diplomat, not so much as a warning device or a war machine :) with a silver tongue and a reasonable amount of gold, almost every initial combat situation can change for...

    Stat blocks for common monsters

For me just hitpoints and a page reference would suffice, if it is a monster that is not to common, my players will want to see the picture if it is available, that way, i would have to look up the reference anyway S

Stat-blocks: In text, or in appendix?

I would definately like to see stats for NPCs and non-MM stuff in the text. the last time I ran a module t was RttToEE, and I would have liked to have had some extra arms to keep track of all the pages :) page references to MM would be sufficient forright-out-of-the-book-monsters S

    Running Modules

My group started on RtToEE, but to be honest, we were somewhat dissapointed. Since I DMmed it, I knew the whole story, and I think the story in itself is great. However, we were discouraged by the massive amount of combat in this module. At some stages, it seems that it was specifically designed...
