    New Information from the UK

This joke thread is shattered by awesome pics... Goddammit! :( However, hooray for (a small look at) Warlord powers!

    Dragonborn Info

Actually, what are the chances of the dreaded Dragonspawn popping up in the first MM? :uhoh:

    New Information from the UK

Clearly the OP is some master of despair, dragging helpless souls, full of hope, to click upon this topic. And then they shall despair at the emptiness within! P.S. Everyone's first clue this was a joke thread should've been that it mentioned the UK. Everyone knows everyone in the US knows the...

    Dragonborn Info

I'd like to point out that the Cleric does seem to rely somewhat on Charisma and Strength, so a Dragonborn still makes a fine Cleric. He's also probably a better Cleric than he is a Fighter, as I don't see Fighters needing Charisma so much. So the Dragonborn racial description may well...

WotC_PeterS: halfling escapes prison... and a tatooed "monk" (Update: Undead Attack!)

If this indeed was an actual fight and not just the 'how I met the guys' story he made up.

    New Information from the UK

Clearly this is some solid information on how the new invisibility works.

    Dragonborn Info

Through the power of guessing, you could probably clear that up. But it'd be guessing. Ah, well, I'll try cause I can :D Speed - probably 6. Everything else but Dwarves and Elves appears to have a speed of 6, and I doubt they'll change this for the Dragonborn. Draconic Heritage - What do we...

D&D 4E Additional first level 4E characters - alternative race/class combos from pregens

From my playtesting experience I've found that that many powers in no way overwhelms the player, as it's very simple to understand how the power is used. I had players who got confused during every session of 3.5 sit down and, after about 5 minutes explaining the rules, play their characters...

Jack's of all trades classes: extinct? and "to bard or not to bard?"

I have a question to your question: What do you define a Jack-of-all-trades as?

    D&D 4E 4e timeline

It was a devil-worshipping empire, the upper-class of which became Tieflings through Infernal pacts. Demons were not involved.

D&D 4E Keep on the Shadowfell specifics from Mearls (4e designer) .. new info on Page 2

Surely Mr. Mearls can walk over to the department that made the characters and ASK them what's in the book? If the Core books are in the printer I'm sure KotS is there too, so it can't be that hard to find out in-company. I reckon they're keeping it a secret so we can be pleasently surprised...

    WotC_Dave: Druid!

Aslong as he doesn't end up being like the WoW Druid before he got that massive buff, I am fine with the 'Hybrid' role. I'm actually really interested how they do this. Perhaps like WoW (uh-oh, I mentioned it twice) he has a set selection of wildshapes from the beginning, and selects power...

    Condition: Weakened

I thought this initially aswell, but then realised that's what enervated does, and it doesn't make sense to have two identical conditions with different names. Unless there's a solid source for that information?

D&D 4E The First 4E Change that I simply cannot support....

If our patriotic colours and red, white and blue because of what's on our flag, what're yours? Heck, you could say the Grick is french.

D&D 4E The First 4E Change that I simply cannot support....

Well then, they are now clearly breaking the Grick's intended role by making it seem more american.

D&D 4E The First 4E Change that I simply cannot support....

This is shocking news. As a non-american, who lives in non-america, I find this favouritism towards the US of A to be simply scandelous. ... this is a joke topic, right?

    The AC/Reflex Conundrum

Actually, I could easily see it being easier to dodge someone trying to grab you with a hand than dodge a swing of the sword. This probably also makes up for 4E possibly not having evasion.

My Elven Rogue, check the math please

Hide armour has a +3, Leather is so far unconfirmed. Most people would say it's +2 though.

Displacement - a bit wussy eh? Mirror image too...

You must have a different monsters file, because most of the level 10-ish creatures I have in the .pdf taken from this website are dealing physical damage. I think whether or not energy attacks will be seen is purely up to the nature of the actual encounter, and nothing to do with what level...
