Sagiro's Story Hour Returns (new thread started on 5/18/08)

Yay, great to see regular updates have been resumed! First of all, a (hopelessly belated, I know) congratulations on the birth of your daughter, Sagiro! Speaking of updates, I have finally (after more than a year!) updated the Sagiro's Collected Story Hour website, adding another two chapters...

Sagiro's Story Hour Returns (new thread started on 5/18/08)

It's been missing at least since November last year -- I posted about it (see post #920) in reply to someone's query about the early parts of the thread seeming to go a bit strange. However, you probably never saw it, since you were gallivanting around in New Zealand at the time... :)

Piratecat's Updated Story Hour! (update 4/03 and 4/06)

Thank you so much for that image... By way of repayment, here's a little song that might be suitable for these types of occasions. I like the image of a ghoul Nolin slowly plucking out a lament over the bodies of the fallen Defenders. With his colleagues (those who can sing, at least)...

Sagiro's Story Hour Returns (new thread started on 5/18/08)

You need to go all the way back to page 30 -- a lot's happened since then!

Sagiro's Story Hour Returns (new thread started on 5/18/08)

Thanks Sagiro -- and Jackylhunter! I've just revisited this thread to collect the next batch of posts; I was amazed to find I already have about 30 pages of material for the next installment... *cue Neverending Story theme...* :) I can only imagine the fun this session must have been... :D

    D&D 3E/3.5 Finally switching to 3.5...

Why, thank you kindly. :o Just so you know, I've updated the DMG files to reflect the just-released errata from WotC (not that there were many changes, but just for completeness' sake).

Sagiro's Story Hour Returns (new thread started on 5/18/08)

Collected Story Hour Updated For anyone who's interested, I've just updated the Sagiro's Collected Story Hour site (see link below). It now contains the Prologue, and also the latest chapter of the Company's exploits inside Het Branoi (complete with three musical interludes, for your reading...

Sagiro's Story Hour Returns (new thread started on 5/18/08)

I'm not Sagiro, obviously, but I recall that when the Story Hour was originally posted, Sialia (a.k.a. Mrs. H) said that this plot thread only came about because she realised she might be moving to California and so exiting the campaign early. *rummages around in old posts* Ah, here we are...

Sagiro's Story Hour Returns (new thread started on 5/18/08)

Excellent! I sense an update to the Collected Story Hour website in the near future... Hurry up, Piratecat! :p :o

My Story Hour is over 663 pages in Word!

 As for your 1000-page estimate above, I'm afraid you're going to have to write a bit more to achieve that... Currently, the Story Hour covers 414 pages on my site, although I haven't updated it in a while (it stops just before the infamous "throw the bread rolls at the DM" session. :D )...

    [WoT] New Spring

I'd agree completely, if that had been what actually happened. However, your description is (to use a Hitch-Hikerism) almost, but not quite, entirely inaccurate... :) You may want to go back and read that part again -- although don't go looking for it in book 9, since it's actually chapter 31...

Sagiro's Story Hour Returns (new thread started on 5/18/08)

Unfortunately, things have been a little chaotic here lately, due to my computer's hard drive deciding to die on me last week. While it was fairly straightforward to replace the hardware, reinstall Windows and get my applications and internet connection etc. back, my most recent data...

Sagiro's Story Hour Returns (new thread started on 5/18/08)

Glad you enjoyed it. Now if I could just get an Original Cast Recording... :D

Sagiro's Story Hour Returns (new thread started on 5/18/08)

The part numbers in the Story Hour posts from Sagiro don't exactly match the session numbers in the actual campaign as shown on the website, but a quick comparison will show that there's no text missing from the start of this thread. However, you're right that part #140 (which corresponds to...

But... I thought Nolin was a tenor? :D

    D&D 3E/3.5 Comparing spell between 3.0 and 3.5

I've also worked on a similar sort of thing for my group, but covering the rest of the PHB as well as the spell lists. Hopefully, it may prove useful for others, too. Click on the "What's Changed" link below to check it out.

Sagiro's Story Hour Returns (new thread started on 5/18/08)

I definitely had Ruddigore in mind -- I didn't realise that there was a practice of sticking this number into Pirates as well. (Actually, I've grown quite fond of several numbers from The Gondoliers lately, but it doesn't really suit this Story Hour. Now if the Defenders ever get back to...

Sagiro's Story Hour Returns (new thread started on 5/18/08)

Well, in a blatant attempt to keep this Story Hour on the first page where it belongs, let me present another G&S-inspired creation. This time, it's the three mages of the Company, the night before venturing into the Cave of the Beasts, showing off the vocal dexterity that's only attained after...

[Dr. Who] Trying to figure out...

Well, you could try moving to Australia... :D The ABC here have just started rebroadcasting the entire series, from the beginning, Monday to Thursday each week. For people like me, it's been a great blast of nostalgia, bringing back memories of growing up in the Seventies with Doctor Who on...
