I don´t agree with this CR system. Example: a Great Wyrm White Dragon is a CR 20, so with this system a pc 20 level would be a CR 20 too... but the dragon is a enemy to be defeated by 4 pcs, just like 4x stronger than our pc enemy 20... In my group creatures just with class levels I give them CR...

I was thinking about to give the cleric a pack of news spells designed to buff the others pcs, like the heroism; heroism, greater; shield of law(chaos/good/evil) and similar spells do. I would like to make the cleric the cure/buffer character of the group.

What´s the DR of a fighter with armor specialization and using a adamantine full plate? And a 20th Barbarian with armor specialization and a adamente breastplate?

I removed divine power from the cleric spell list, and now the cleric is proficient only with light armors. My idea is to build a suport cleric, more like a priest, but the cleric doesn´t have spells to buff the AC, Attack, Damage and Saves of his allies...

I agree with the problem 1, my players discovered a way of boost the CL to aproximadelly his LEVEL + 10, so any enemy of his level would be defeated by this spell without problems.

This is the question, we are playing since 5th level and probably we will go to epic levels, then the combo was this: rod of persistent + divine power + divine favor + righteous might and in the epic levels he takes tenacious magic... so... 24 hours for a day better than a fighter, and with this...

In my games the favorite enemy abilities fuctions just with types of creatures without subtypes... for example, you don´t have to choose extraplanar(good) or Humanoid(elf) just extraplanar or humanoid to get the bonus for all humanoids and extraplanar. This house rule is unbalanced?

Hum... i understand what you are saying but... what´s the difference between a rod of persistent and a rod of quicken spell in terms of power? Because the rod of persistent is more limited to the number of spells that he can be used since the rod of quicken you can use in 98% of the cases...

Yes, i agree that is very strong but divine metamagic with persistent does the same thing (in my game i don´t use divine metamagic) and the players will create the rod using the create rod feat. So he will lose XP and a lot of gold to do this, i think it´s balanced. What do you think?
