I am interested in Solasta 2 as well. The tactical combat aspect of the original Solasta was brilliant. Hopefully the game will have better production values this time. I was obsessed with battle clerics though, lol. If the War Domain worked liked that in tabletop D&D I would definitely play it.

Both Neil Newbon and Samantha Beart had played D&D before they got cast in BG3. Beart first played in the late 2010s and Newbon from way back. So they probably felt comfortable. So far as I know Tim Downie (Gale) had not played D&D before BG3.

If no class can be higher than 12 I would go Sorcerer 12/Warlock 6/Fighter 2.

One sign I think this problem has improved over the years is the player base went from 10% female is 1979 to 39% in 2023. It has gotten a bit better with each edition. Back during 1E it was ... problematic.

Dwarf Glamour Bard. Valor would be the stereotypical choice for a dwarf bard. Dwarf Archfey Warlock. Dwarf Wild Magic Sorcerer (Clockwork Soul would be more stereotypical for a dwarf). High Elf Barbarian (wood elf would be more common). Halfling or Gnome Barbarian.
