    Surprise Attacks

You also have to notice Greedo's low hit points. Even if Greedo hadn't been surprised, Han would've surely gained victory over such beginner in one round.

Help me find a PrC: Knights of Watch and Dispatch

Great news! I hope to hear if you found anything from your HD! That PDF you linked provided me valuable information, but I feel disappointed how unfair requirements those knights have.

Help me find a PrC: Knights of Watch and Dispatch

Thank you. Yes you have, it seems much more clear now. I wasn't aware of those books but now that I am, I will get them and get smarter. Thanks once more!

    Aquatic vampire?

I've been comtemplating a monster idea for my players. Something supposedly fresh and new  A merfolk Vampire bard I was thinking that the guy got bit (somehow) years ago and been travelling river to river for years. Players go and investigate a certain area around a river where people...

D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5] An experiment to nerf the full casters

I guess this is a "yes or no"-question? The answer is: No.

Help me find a PrC: Knights of Watch and Dispatch

Thanks, now we are only missing Knights of the Dispatch :)

Help me find a PrC: Knights of Watch and Dispatch

From Living Greyhawk Column: Power Groups - Knights of the Watch (and Knights of Dispatch) Part 2 Eh... I'd love to get a hold of this PrC since I'm running a Greyhawk campaign, but where can I find it? Google did me little good.

D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5] An experiment to nerf the full casters

Well in my case the idea is to add randomness and uncertainty into combat which makes the game more exciting. So if someone would prove my fumble- and crit-tables completely unrealistic BS I wouldn't care... so much :)

D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5] An experiment to nerf the full casters

You have lots of interesting points. In my case I have studied sports and fighting in general and I came up with a fumble-table. Dropping your weapon is uncommon and it's usually about letting yourself get easily disarmed, not about throwing your weapon away. It's more common to have an injury...

D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5] An experiment to nerf the full casters

The caster level check I mentioned also works as the roll to get through potential spell resistance (1 and 3 are the same roll, even if 3 is not required). So only two checks needed. I think this is a fine house rule, too bad none of you guys share my view ;)

    good wizard builds

Just remember to go with Grey Elf. And don't lose caster levels. Everything else is kind of secondary.

D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5] An experiment to nerf the full casters

How about this: Let's take a look at the martial characters first. No matter the level, they've feared the natural 1 from the day 1 and still do. There are some ways to make natural 1 softer (Luck Domain etc.) but still, natural 1 sucks. It really does suck hard. So to make things fair, you...

If IKEA Made a Dedicated Gaming Table, Would You Buy It?

What? Most of the guys here would buy such thing? Wow... I like the fact that I can put everything remotely related to roleplaying in the drawers and closets when I'm not playing. My apartment is for my family and friends, not for gaming. Roleplaying is my hobby, not my furniture. I'm lucky...

Can charisma be something more than just dump stat?

Just to add my two coppers in, I've noticed more misconceptions about Charisma than any other ability score. It seems that the whole concept of Charisma is difficult especially for beginners. Charisma is a dump stat It depends really. If the party has a good spokesman, that goes a long way...

    5e what would you do?

I agree with you Delericho that the things you mentioned should go to a supplement. I'd be happy about it, as long it was a well-designed supplement :)

    5e what would you do?

I quite didn't understand why the AD&D 2nd Players' Option was buried. I felt that it was fun to have point buy system for players to customize races and classes. It really made the characters unique. I would definately go back to 3e and make some chances: 1 for a supplement. 5e must have...

    The Mystery of The katana

I don't understand why crossbows aren't more popular. Pope once banned crossbows because they are just too much. Nobody ever banned katanas... And if the Pope had ban katanas, it means that they are cool like condoms and gay-marriage. Katanas however belong to the less prestigious non-banned...

    FIFA Soccer 11

Yes I did. I did like the career mode a lot, but as you can see from that video it was full of bugs. As far as I know, it had more bugs than any other PC-game of 21th century.

Neat GM advice on Female Gamers:

Of course it's different if they are interested about video games or sports cars. I'm just saying that as a default I wouldn't start to talk about them first. What I'm really trying hard to say here is that I do behave differently with different people because I try to get along with people and...

Neat GM advice on Female Gamers:

Patronizing? Wow, now this response came as a complete surprise to me. Yes I do alter my behavior according to the people around. If I'm with women, I tend not to talk about certain things such as what was the best Mortal Kombat. If I'm playing with religious people, I tend not to talk about...
