How are Hasbro & WotC responding to all this negative publicity? I get the feeling this leak was done before they could try to massage anything so is there any damage control, or any responses in general, from WotC or Hasbro?

You would think Hasbro would do more to advertise this, and maybe start with a lower price point than $250 right from the gate. I hear this is cheaper than the original Heroscape when it first started out but why push for $2 million as a funding goal?

Probably because people nowadays aren't interested in Harry Potter as much as back then. Essentially even if you're creative, if you bark up the wrong tree, that creativity doesn't attract interest.

Honestly, I don't think WotC nowadays has the creativeness of TSR. It may have been a poorly run company but it seems like it was a hell of a lot more creative.

That or possibly darkvision also includes infravision in it? Or is that too much from a RAW perspective?

Tanis in the novels has something called elvensight. Was that some form of infravision?
