The only gaming I am doing at the moment is Dragon Warriors. The DM and I both had the originaly books (still have all 6 of mine) and gamed alot with them. The DM picked up the revised book and Bestiary due to nostalgia and wanted to know if I would be interested in playing and we convinced the...

    1d3? Huh!?

I have a blue d3 die - it is a 6 sided die, but with 2 1s, 2 2s and 2 3s. They are opposite each other, so all is fair. Can't remember where I picked it, have had it for a long time.

Bring back the FanCC downloads please

If real life time permits and i boot up the server at home (it is temperamental and dies when it gets too hot) I can upload to the Downloads section all the FanCC stuff that I have - which is a fair chunk of it as I was an active member when it was functional. As I haven't used the Downloads...

OneNote a GMs holy grail :) (In case youve never used MS OneNote)

Office 07 Enterprise definitely has it included as part of the suite.

Is it me or is death knell a crap spell?

IN the first 3e game I played in, the DM had the BBEG cleric use this spell to finish off one of the party members - it was a perfect sitting duck situation and he used it - finish off an opponent, and power up against the others.

    I Still Miss, Mortality Radio

Ah the good ol' days. Yes Mortality was the thing to do on Sat mornings here in Oz, while doing household chores. Even my wife used to like listening in while reading, or whatever. And I used to love calling in from Oz to win contests and force American publishers to ship product to Oz...

Any Excel masters around that can help me?

Actually there is a chance that only one button is required to turn on/off the grouping. You can create a macro to turn on AutoFilter and when you keep clicking on it, it turns the filter on,then off, once more on and so on. So there is a chance that only the one macro and button is required.

Any Excel masters around that can help me?

Custom Views have been around for longer than Excel 2007. I first used them in Excel 2000, and there is a chance they were there in previous versions as well. As to macros for viewing custom views, you will need a separate macro for each view. This is something I show when showing Macros in a...

Any Excel masters around that can help me?

The location of the + sign is determined by Excel, unfortunately you cannot move it. You can have as many grouping levels as you would like. Start with the first level and make those groups, then while those rows are visible, make then next group, etc.

    Gencon OZ... anyone going?

Would have loved to have gone, but the twins were born Monday 23rd and we are still trying to get them settled in and all. Had thought while still in the hospital about it, but now reality has kicked in. As an aside, GenConOz has its own forums (for those not currently aware) and one thing Ian...

New Dragon article up - Playing Warforged

Couldn't see a thread anywhere about this, and found this when I was looking through the Table of Contents of the current dragon. Playing Warforged - http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/drfe/20080606b, written by Chris Sims. 9 pages long - racial traits, feats, paragon paths, the lot. Also...

    Software Testing/Data Validation

Andargor's database is just a collection of data from an xml file. Wizard of Dallas' database is a proper database that he previewed a few months back that would allow a lot more than a collection of data. Wiz - I'm game to test the application, esp the spell side of things and see how it...

    Baby > 4e

We haven't had the twins yet, still have a few weeks, so 4e beat us to the birth. Which is good as we both went and played in the Gameday module today and had some fun with it. So congrats on the bub and hope all goes well for the future!

    D&D Gameday: Into the Shadowhaunt

A player's thoughts on the Gameday module. [Spoilers] Mistress Dodo & I played in the WWGD today and had fun trying out the new edition. For us at this point we are only purchasing the PHB as we are not sure if we will be playing the new version, the old version or anything at all with twins on...

    Jacqueline Carey?

I have read the first Kushiel's trilogy and absolutely loved it. I didn't care much for Imriel so havent decided to read the second trilogy at this point. Her fantasy trilogy I have not seen, so do not have an opinion of it.

    Anyone good with Word?

An even quicker way to use format paintbrush is to highlight the format you want to copy and go CTRL + SHIFT + C. Then to paste it, just go CTRL + SHIFT + V as many times as you want.

    Anyone good with Word?

It could be the files you are working with. A zoom is inherent with the file. This is noticable at my work where I like to work in 100%, whereas my colleagues work in Page Width which is usually 147%. So I open one of their Word docs and lo and behold - 147%. Whereas with my docs stored locally...
