A medium-sized character with only simple weapon proficiency can wield 2-handed; a Greatsword 2d6/19-20x2 with a -4 non-proficiency penalty, or a Large Morningstar 2d6/x2 with a -2 improper size penalty. Am I missing any rules there? Thanks!

I hear ya Bugaboo. Still, I wouldn't throw all the blame at the player. The rules for specialized wizards are weak. It's a good idea that promotes a little diversity amongst mages, but it's certainly an area that can be improved and expanded upon. Maybe they'll do something with it for 3.5.

While I don't have PurgeIE, a "locked" file error generally means that the file is in use by another program. I'd make sure that all instances of IE are closed. If that fails then reboot and run Purge directly afterwards, although some programs may start with the reboot that could still "lock"...
