I don't think we'll ever solve that this game has more ways to murder someone than to make a friend. The game is partly about weapons and fighting, it always has been.

There is no scientific data to draw from for this. Don’t we all know there is no such thing as perfect proportions anyway? This whole subject creeps me out.

Can you give an example of AI making better proportions? Because all I know is that such image generating code makes averages, instead of actual, unique human beings who all have different proportions. I just don't see how you can say that AI should be better when it clearly is based on the work...

It is relevant because it has proven me the opposite of your argument that AI is better at making art of women. If the data these AI’s use is ruined by our own preferences, then that doesn’t bode well.

That has not been my experience at all. After all, LLM’s don’t use people we see every day. Instead, it uses the vast amounts of art and images we have of women. Surprise, surprise: most of them are conventionally attractive. I have had huge trouble using MidJourney to make women who didn’t...

Sure, and I know there’s a huge gray area. I believe we vote with our wallets, and WotC might miss over 50% of their market if the people with strong convictions stick to their guns.

Why? Do you think we won’t have a choice but to buy TTRPG books with AI generated content? As long as there is a market for people who buy things based on their ethics, I think we’ll be able to buy things for humans by humans. Think of it as fairtrade products or soy-based meat replacements.

I agree with everything you say, by the way. What I am hoping to prove for myself is that there is too little interest in such WotC products. Why would they use AI this way if most people will stop buying from them? It might still be cheaper for them, but if even 50% of their consumers won’t...

Yes I should have been more specific. I would say that is a tool, not a product we can buy now. This question is intended for products released as we know them now.
