    Zin's Character Sheet

I have thought about that, it is probably possible to do a template picker much like programs are importing the saved character, then tell it to apply XSL templates and violá! Though I am not versed in xml/xsl ways so i am not sure how hard that would be.

    adventure tool/s

I am not sure you can move it to another computer, the entire data should be stored in the data folder, but given how the D&DI subscription works I would be very surprised if we could make the program work without running the install.

    Zin's Character Sheet

Very nice sheet. It is one thing the character builder messed up, not having customizable templates.

    Large city maps

My god that program is awesome!

    adventure tool/s

The forum does not accept any attachment extension. ;) I believe we won't be seeing a dungeon tile map making tool in adventure tools, simply because it would end up killing their printed products. But I expect a map makign tool of some kind. A skill challenge and trap making tool is simply a...

    Invisible

Those equating Invisibility and Undetectability should read the Invisible Man novel by H. G. Wells, it is basically how the entire invisibility thing started in modern stories. If for nothing else just for the sake of it, it is great book, heck we should all read or re-read it! ;)

    Invisible

Actually it is no house rule, the Invisible Rules are on the PHB page 281 (with January 2010 Updates applied already): The idea is that invisibility merely hides your image, any noise or other noticeable element is there and unless you roll a stealth check you are not trying to conceal any of...

Does the swordmage marking power suck?

They are interrupt because it interrupts the action, take place and then things continue, the only reason for the action that triggered not to continue would be if it became impossible to do so. Rules quote below: Page 268 PHB

    I've experienced D&D4

Can you please stop the mind reading thing? I have to say that was my very experience with 3rd edition and it is exactly how I feel about 4th. Don't get me wrong I do feel nostalgic, I started playing AD&D 2nd edition, since then I managed to play many older incarnations of the game and while...

    Invisible

The only true way to handle it is to trust your DM in making a fair reasoning on which square the monster attacks, or if it attacks somenone he can see instead, since it is a lot more simple.

    Showing love to our enablers

My fiancee supports me, she understands how important it is to me and allows me to have enough time to GM / play, I will drop by your blog. :)

    Anyone using Onenote?

I was using One Note lately, but since I am GMing 4th edition Masterplan has found a soft spot for me, it unites Onenote usability and 4th edition crunch in one place.

    DDXP 2010 News and Updates

Ah yeah, a new D&D cartoon could rock.

    Dark Sun info from DDXP

Ah I don't mind with which levle people get it, I actually find it rather funny that for once we do have support for inherent bonuses in the core rules of D&D for a change. Only thing they missed with current Character Builder is usability for house rules and campaign specific rules. ;)

Got D&D Insider; Don't need books

I want since it is the one place to check magic items by type and level. The compendium does a lousy job on that regard and we rotate GMing.

Coming to a MM near you- FLAVOR!

Truth be told, the MM has left all the stats dominate it, it is now a purely mechanical supplement that I dread the thought of readin,g in 2e I would read every single monster entry in any monster book I purchased sometimes an entire adventure or campaign would revolve around ideas sprung from...

    Dark Sun info from DDXP

I find it rather easier to plan and award a single event that gives inherent bonus than two, matter of preference.

Got D&D Insider; Don't need books

Well 5 players is the rule but sicne the group is 1 GM + 5 players we are one update short.

Battles taking too long - whats the tricks?

Bardolph got the damage part right, but the HP part I have seen is not 90% but current hp raised to 0.9 power.

Battles taking too long - whats the tricks?

The best I heard was HP^0.9 and Damage increased by 1/2level, it increases damage output while lowring HP in proportion to how much it had originally.
