    Thanks for the great ideas guys, keep 'em coming :) The thing with the "magic as item" solutions is, I think it places too much power into the hands of the person possessing it, be it PC-s or the BBEG. And what if the item is destroyed?

    The way I'm reading the SRD is that a dwarfs speed is never reduced below 20 feet due to armor or encumberance. Do you have another source?

    SRD: Dwarf base land speed is 20 feet. However, dwarves can move at this speed even when wearing medium or heavy armor or when carrying a medium or heavy load (unlike other creatures, whose speed is reduced in such situations). So by RAW it seems that a dwarf barbarian still moves 20 feet...

    IIRC the first stance you get must always be a first level stance. So you'd need a 2 level dip to get Assassin's Stance.

    True, but some spells are pretty worthless when used from scrolls/wands. I myself really like the tactic, I'm thinking of using it with my next character, maybe using a weapon with a wand chamber so I can have a free hand for spellcasting. I just wanted to see what people here think before...

    Nice tactic, but I'm not sure about one thing. Wouldn't the attack use the wand's cha bonus, which is the minimum needed to cast a 2nd level spell?

    A circlet of persuasion gives a circumstance bonus. In my example both the belt and the gloves give an enhancement bonus.

    What about this scenario: you are wearing a belt of strength +6, and gloves of the titan's grip (MIC, +8 enhancement bonus on grapple checks). Since the belt of strength gives you a +3 bonus to grapple, does it count as an enhancement bonus, thus not stacking with the gloves?

    Just wondering, how do you reload crossbows when you've got one in each hand? Nevermind, next time I'll google before I post :) Crossbow sniper from PHB2 gives you half your dex bonus to damage rolls with a crossbow, plus you can make sneak attacks at 60 feet.

    I would highly recommend taking two levels of Swordsage. This can give you two great stances, one that lets you flank when you and an ally are adjacent to the enemy, and a 2-nd lvl one which gives you +2d6 sneak attack. Top it off with a couple of cool maneuvers, i.e. swift greater invisibility...
