    Sigil Setting: Combat Tavern?

I think a warforged would be too outside of the Sigil mood. Being Eberron specific, it links too greatly to a closed off and very distinct setting whose mood doesn't really fit the flow of Sigil. While in theory it could work, making an iconic part of a Sigil room have that kind of tie might...

    Sigil Setting: Combat Tavern?

Easy enough to convey the same atmosphere though by changing or ommiting the appropriate words (smoke can be from any number of legal substances just as easily) - and that's where the greatness in that description idea lies, the atmosphere. It would dramatically set it apart from the 'Roads by...

    Sigil Setting: Combat Tavern?

Brilliance. Complete and total brilliance. This entire concept will not only make the Hive more real, but I've got a feeling that many old hands may find their way back to the chats if this happens. I know many of my characters would fit right in. :P

    Death of characters?

Funny, I don't remember a time when the boards at Wizards were without complaints or rants or criticism of other cliques, or whatever else you can think of. :p That aside. This sums up my opinion as a freeform combat enthusiast quite well, in all honesty. There are enough methods to avoid a...

    Login issues

Most likely it's just a matter of the database not refreshing the side menu while it's on lock down, much like a screen shot. Just like the way the side menu is sometimes a few minutes behind the times on who is actually logged into the chats.

    Simple Etiquette

Heh, I can sympathize there, as I think I can safely say most of the other players behind Sril've Cress can. We had the same sort of quasi-stalker thing going on with a certain few individuals who refused to leave the organization's characters alone in spite of repeated in-character and...

    It would be great...

Careful now... for all anyone really knows, that resident deity might just be three ratatosks with a Wand of Flaying. ;) Anyhow... I think a lot of the issue boils down to stubborness and a sort of tunnel-vision, especially among the more recent issues of players calling Tavern setting...

    A note on descriptions

So reading the original ISRP message board section makes one a close friend of a WizO? Because that was how most people found out. And it was released publically perhaps a week after the then-WizOs themselves were informed if I remember patches of conversations correctly (for the record, yes...

    A note on descriptions

Quite frankly, that's a bit off base. The tavern, in particular, is inside a human settlement. Meaning that races allied with humans make sense to be there with some regularity, and races obviously enemies of humans would be shunned and driven out... if applying suspension of disbelief...

    To Whom It May Concern

A second note is placed unceremoniously as though by a mere wisp of passing shadow. Simple, soft grey parchment with darker grey ink in a steady, precise script, familiar to some, but not seen in these places for quite some time. A shame that he has returned. If he wishes to resume his...

    A Guide to Combat Roleplay

By overactions, I meant entering five actions for every one of the other players (yes, plural, as in five actions per other person's action). When this includes firing off spells in rapid succession, it's clearly not some 17th level mage we're talking about, and I think you know that fully well...

    A Guide to Combat Roleplay

Certainly an option as well, when both players trust one another. Diced combat can work quite nicely as long as both players trust each other not to fabricate matters (as Eligre points out). I always keep up to date on my threads. ;) Thanks for the complement on the old guide. :) And...

    Welcome to ENWorld!!!

Rare that a lurker like me is among the first to step forward. :p Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I'm sure that the ISRP merger will be for the best for all involved, looking forward to seeing the ISRP grow and become stronger here. :)
