Why _DON'T_ You Buy Dragon Magazine?

I don't buy Dragon magazine (and Dungeon) because I can not buy it here in Czech republic. It is hard enought to get the d20 books which are not published by WotC (and since Dragon is published by Paizo) our distributor did not sold it.

    DM's and their Paladins

In my home-brew campaign world is only one paladin order with very strict code of conduct. It is based on real crushader-knight's orders, like templars or hospitalers. The faith is much more important here and the problem of good and evil is also different. But it is hard to describe...

At what age did you start gaming?

I was 11 when I started to play RPG. It was because I have entered a second level school (kind of prolonged high-school) and two of my classmates played Draci Doupe which is czech variant of Dungeons of Dragons (quite poor made, btw). Since than I played Draci doupe for seven years, than...

    D&D has threatened my job!

Oh my godness! I think, that although it is really a nice thing to invite students to gaming, it might be a problem in US. Here, in my country everybody would be more than pleased, especially parents, but that is a different culture. Whatever you do, you should (may be) invite principal and or...

    Buying WotC Products

I buy very few d20 books. It is because to in my country the hooby stores sells only WotC products (no chance for third party publishers) and I don't like the style WotC begin to use in last two years or so. Last book I bought was Draconomicon, but mostly because of the art itself.

Do We Need any more d20 books?

A book on merchant / guilds (in the original meaning - not a thieves guilds / and economics in general would be fine. A book on reneissance impact on medieaval DnD world would be cool too.

    anyone else burned-out with D&D?

Burn-out? Yes! By DnD? I don't know. At first DnD 3e returned me to playing RPG extensively, it was almost as nice feeling as my first RPG steps 10 years ago. And than something just break. I don´t know wheather it was the books filled with feats, equipment, spells, magic items and monsters...

    Renaming Real-World Nations...

It depends on which slavic language do you speak. In Czech (btw - in ancient times called Bohemia) we spell and pronounce it a little bit different - Nemecko (Germany) and Nemci (the citizens of Germany). They are called mute, because nobody understands them. :-)

    City Adventures

Well, I run a game of city campaign, but it is my own idea and what´s worse it is not in English. The story is this: On far islands is mostly pirate and necromancer's harbour, where live the worst of the people. Players have to have some good reasons why to travel there and on these ideas are...

Anyone else overall disappointed by D&D books?

Thanx ;) Anyway, I have got a few other week points of D&D books. One of them is faith. I miss typical in almost every normal culture present archetypal gods and consistent mythology behind the pantheons. It is just name, one sentence like creator of sth. or protector of sth. and finally...

Anyone else overall disappointed by D&D books?

Well, I am disappointed by D&D books for quite a long time. And I bought just a few of them, core rulebooks and about three or four other. What I really dislike is the fact, there is just nothing interesting, nothing creative in them. I as a DM want consistent world with functional ecology...

I've DMed myself into a corner; please help me out!

11th level characters are going to fight in war of planes? Are you joking? Kill them. Especially good, let them be killed by their own evil characters, this will be the lesson, of appropriate risk.

    Rogues feats

Make an archer rogue (it is also funny). Improved initiative is good, but point blank shot, precise shot, rapid shot etc. is much better. I am playing archer rogue for years (litterary) and it is great tactical option, althought it is not as deadly as it probably could be. But id depends on your...

    Does anyone still play 3.0e?

We still play 3E. I am not so rich, to buy another set of basic rules just because WotC wants more money. Anyway we use some 3.5E books (like Draconomicon). In my opinion, WotC did not revitalize the game, they just add another strange stuff (yeah, I mean these prestige classes, magic items...
