I change hit points all the time. It has to be done otherwise the DM has to understand how everything in the game works 100% perfectly and predict the future properly. Nothing like a boring finale to a BBEG campaign to make everyone go "meh".

How about no world at all? Just make things utterly neutral and allow the DM to decide how it fits in his own games. Beyond that, Kingdoms of Kalamar. I love that setting.

None of the above for me. If I wanted to play other genres, I'd play a system more suited to that genre.

You can view PDFs on an iPad and iPhone, but a few hoops have to be jumped through. First install the Adobe acrobat app, then sync your iPhone/iPad to your pc, then you find and transfer the pdf to the app via iTunes. Yeah it's bleh to start, but it works well once done.
