Some classes are better suited for some races than others, I fail to see a problem. If you cant use it until level 5, dont give it out until level 5. Problem solved, and the mechanic (which I happen to like) still works.

Thats a very good point, for whatever reason I was thinking the power names were based on class, not power source. But double checking my PHB it definitely seems they are based on the power source. So that puts rages right out. However, I think "rites" can still work for a barbarian and a druid.
