Congrats to Ray! I always liked his work since the DC Heroes RPG many moons ago. Here's hoping that we get some of the old non-fantasy properties while he works at WotC.

It looks to be a nice set, but, like Beth, I was also disappointed to find out that a product called "Laeral Silverhand's Explorer's Kit" was a dice pack with some goodies. I was hoping for something more like the old 1e Survival Guides to be honest.

GI Joe already is a fictional counterpart to the real world, and has been for decades. I've been wishing for a GI Joe RPG for about as long. Now if only Hasbro would listen.

While I love Top Secret and Alternity (which has a 2nd ed out), I would really like to see a new FASERIP book/set, and see both Gamma World and Star Frontiers brought into a 5e conversion of some sort. I would really like to see Dark Matter as well, but more the setting than the old rules.

Glad to remind, Ethan. Morrus, I'm not sure what the status of DCU shows are in the UK. I know they were premiering on Netflix in Canada, but it doesn't seem to be catering to this show.

So I watched the first episode. Short (~30 mins), but fun. It was nice to see the old game played, but I seriously think we need an updated ruleset so there could be some marketing.

So it's speculation on your part. Honestly, I've been asking fairly regularly since 5th ed started for both Gamma World and Star Frontiers to return. We can speculate all day, but unless WotC decides to release some further books beyond D&D, the reality is we're looking to 3rd party to do...

Do you have a source for info on d20 Future and Gamma World? I'd love to find out more.

Big fan of the DC Heroes RPG and pretty excited to watch this. My hope is that we get a new edition of DCH produced by DC Entertainment down the line.

I'd rather spend the $175 on new editions of Star Frontiers and Gamma World utilizing the 5e ruleset. Give me an SF Explorer's Handbook and Star Master's Guide, or a GW Gamma Master's Guide and Wastelander Handbook, any day.

I would have to disagree with Maher, Hurst, and Putnam. As an avid tabletop gamer/comic collector, I adult just fine. I'm married to a fellow gamer (whom I met via the old Wizards Community), have two kids that play games (who are 20-somethings), and spend time every week with a 10 person gaming...

The bare minimum is the Mutants & Masterminds 3e Hero's Handbook. There is a Basic Hero's Handbook in the works for later this year as well. To expand from there, I always recommend the Power Profiles book and the Gadget Guide. There's a good idea on how to build things in them, which might help...

I would love to see a Fate version of Star Frontiers!

I'm looking forward to the previewing coming soon, and the core books. Really loved Alternity back in the day, and anxious to see how it's changed in this new edition.

In combat, I like to use minis when I can for all games I run.
