    Snaking the HIVE

Eh, stuff changing means you're still alive (well, unless you're the skirmish game). Cheers, LT.

    Snaking the HIVE

 Stop thinking about that. Instead, think of the band or your gf. Either option is more conductive to the continued existence of our space-time. :p Cheers, LT.

Just hope that Galeros hasn't changed his dietary preferences, mate! Cheers, LT.

Discussing 4e Subsystems: Elites, Solos, Minions, and Monster XP

Well, a solo has 2 APs, you can easily use them to get away from the fighter (via shift) and then whack other people. Also, a solo has sufficiently high hit points (and usually defences), that you can simply move away - the OA has to connect, after all. If it didn't work, just whack the fighter...

    Snaking the HIVE

"They ALL float down here." Cheers, LT.

    Snaking the HIVE

Nah, wouldn't work, because that would change the weather here in England as well. Cheers, LT.

    Snaking the HIVE

Well, I wouldn't start to live in such a place to begin with! Not without large-scale terraforming! :p Cheers, LT.

Entertainment Weekly: "Can Heroes Be Saved?"

Exactly - Hiro's new reluctance to use time travelling is very refreshing and makes sense - remember Charlie? Kensei? These things weren't exactly glorious. It makes sense to have learned from that. Plus, future Hiro was pulled off pretty well, he made research (remember all these strings in his...

    Snaking the HIVE

Well, I visited Las Vegas, but it was full of ACs. Europe is a bit milder, though the southern countries can get very hot (South Italy, Spain). The hardest thing is probably the impact of switching between the heat and the AC air, that always hit me hardest in Vegas, after some minutes, you can...

    Snaking the HIVE

Ah, you wacky Americans with all that AC! :D On the other hand, I sort of know that - if it's sufficiently warm, I don't need sleep at all AND I function fine. Though once I need sleep again, I sleep veeery well! :D Cheers, LT.

The Pie... Err... Keep on the Shadowfell.

"Of course tree-huggers are evil. Our druids worship the stone and earth itself." Thorid looks back at the bug for a moment and contemplates it, then strides forward, following Sir Voluminous. "But bugs are just bugs. Unless they live within trees. Then they are evil, like devils living within...

    Snaking the HIVE

Just go to sleep early this night, or your sleep cycle will become incredibly wacky. Which is sort of fun, but also leaves you stark raving mad. ;) Cheers, LT.

Discussing 4e Subsystems: Elites, Solos, Minions, and Monster XP

The problem is that some elites already run under the "bloodied = funky stuff happens" paradigm, which makes sense, considering that they count as two creatures (hence the mid-point of bloodied). Solos, however, have to pull the weight of five equivalently levelled creatures and only get a...

5 rpgs I would take to a deserted island.

Well, I think most people have, indeed, listed single books - probably with the exception of D&D, because of the multibook approach (a lot of other RPGs can be played with one book alone pretty well, D&D less so). Also: Get these lists from the office and post them here! Cheers, LT.

    Snaking the HIVE

Yeah, sorta. Actually, last Sunday already, it just took a bit to hit home and get through my system. Well, it's better now, I think. Cheers, LT.

    Snaking the HIVE

I used to. Right now, they make me sad. :( LT.

5 rpgs I would take to a deserted island.

This. But for completeness' sake: #1: Savage Worlds: Explorer's Edition #2: D&D 4th edition #3: WFRP 2E #4: Star Wars Saga Edition #5: Mage: The Awakening ...actually that's about the things I possess (sans splats), plus I'd miss Call of Cthulhu and Shadowrun... but what can I say? Cheers, LT.
