Spring attack is one of the preuquites to getting the whirlwind feat. Basically it meens you hit everybody within range of a melee weapon. Awesome if you use it with a daggered whip :3 1d6 damage all around. Litterely. Though you still have to roll for hit.

You can find quickened magic feat in the first players hand book. Its in the 'feats' section under meta magic feats.

actually there is a feat called quickened magic that lets you pull off spells as a free action, however you can only perform one quickened spell per round, so in each each round you can only use two spells or just one followed by a normal attack.
