    The Risen Goddess (Updated 3.10.08)

The dragon was keeping a watch for the hag gathering-party's return. “Of course, there is also the dragon,” the charmed hag murmurs. Her lower-planar nature causes her to revel in secrets and the discovery of them—and take an even greater joy in the betrayal of trust. Her hands flutter over one...

    The Risen Goddess (Updated 3.10.08)

B.A.D.D., shmad-- somebody alert my DM that dragons are supposed to be guarding some treasure, for crying out loud. You can't buy a new suit of armor with a sense of triumph.

    The Risen Goddess (Updated 3.10.08)

79—Lighting strikes twice. “Of course, there is also the dragon,” the charmed hag murmurs. Her lower-planar nature causes her to revel in secrets and the discovery of them—and take an even greater joy in the betrayal of trust. Her hands flutter over one another as she bobs her head, gazing...

Hey, web gurus! I'm having trouble with a web form. Help?

I assume HTML tidy is a utility that cleans up HTML formatting? Thanks for the link to the W3C validation page, Drawmack-- that's nifty. If anyone's interested at checking out the form (we took it down until we can get a working version up), it can be found at: shiftschedule.us/form.htm.

The Liberation of Tenh (updated April 24)

Good question. Esril's fate isn't clear-- she isn't with the Tenha in Nevond Nevnend, and her body wasn't at Cur'ruth. Many of the Cur'ruth Tenha made it safely to other nearby communities, particularly High Hadley, and perhaps she did as well. Maybe someday we'll play that out, and find out...

The Liberation of Tenh (updated April 24)

Ironically, I felt at the time that this was the prelude for the campaign's conclusion and climactic battle-- Heydricus was 18th on the cusp of 19th, Pris was on the high end of 17th . . . Heydricus’ cohorts are at 16th, with Jespo on the low end at 15th (after his unfortunate and sudden...

The Liberation of Tenh (updated April 24)

Patchwall 3, CY 593 64: Using smoke and mirrors to get a better look at all the smoke and mirrors. “Nevond Nevnend, proud Tenha,” Heydricus begins at the top of his voice. There is a murmur among the crowd as they slowly realize that this is no new bandit king, but the Holy Liberator himself...

Unknown Date 63: Blood up to here, and no change of clothes. To Nevond Nevned, then, and away from Cur’ruth for possibly the last time. The Liberators are somber and quiet—their home of the last nine months has been destroyed, their bodies looted, and their attackers are unknown and at large...

Wanna Know What I Miss? The Pantheon!

I fish-hooked his eye sockets by mistake. (shrugs) It happens. I told him, "Hey sport, it didn't work out for us this time, but I guess were just two different people in this big, crazy, mixed up world. Now if I could just get you to go ahead and get out of my car . . . that'd be great . . ...

I didn't impose the level loss, since this was essentially an arbitrary and diceless killing. :)

Heh, that would have been just too cold. :) I assumed that Pris dressed the clones and armed them with mundane gear when she sequestered them. After all, while alive is good, alive and dressed warmly is even better.

The Liberation of Tenh (updated April 24)

The latter. I created new character sheets for the PCs (and NPCs) sans magic items, then as we were getting ready to play, I asked for their character sheets. I put them away, and handed them the clone sheets, and said, "you wake up on your stone beir, within Martak's secret chamber". They...
