I did my usual "pick campaign settings I like that aren't known to be in development." Dark Sun, Planescape, and Birthright, I take comfort in knowing they have at least 1 vote each!

I agree! I also wouldn't be surprised if the possible First World just uses Council of Wyrms as a base and just expands on it. Io actually created the world and the first land masses, but then Bahamut and Tiamat flesh out the rest. But everything changed when the other gods and their worshippers...

I initially read that as "The gaming is rarely on the clock," but if the work itself is rarely on the clock....that is beyond terrible.

I like this idea! I may be misremembering something, but could the First World also have been home to the Wind Dukes of Aaqa? I seem to remember them settling on multiple worlds, but I don't remember if they originated on a Prime world or the Plane of Air. I've only gotten to the second page...

Indeed, but this means someone will be doing 3D printed minis for all of the ships. I'd love to see the Elvish Armada, Dwarven Citadel ship, and the Spelljammer as to-scale minis!

When I worked on my little Dark Sun and Birthright conversions, mostly just notes, I tried to approach it the way I thought WotC would. I made them more inclusive where a player could play almost anything published by Wizards. The only things that were off the table were those races that were...

That seems plausible. I would rather it get the full setting treatment, but something is better than absolutely nothing.

That's fair, it's definitely not a certainty by any stretch of the imagination. It's just something I can see happening and I personally wouldn't see it as shoehorning.

For the time being, yes. I wouldn't be surprised to see giants similar to D&D giants to pop up in various planes, particularly Dominaria or Kaldheim. Edited because brain moves faster than fingers.

Overall, I do like this UA. I do think that things can be tuned up a little bit, but we have a good start. As far as what kind of book the contents will be in...a giant book or a new campaign setting are both good options at this point. A Kaldheim release isn't outside of the realm of...
