I'll second this. MapTool is brilliant and easy to use. Our group is considering getting an LCD projector so we can use MapTool at the table instead of the vinyl battlemat.

Rifle. A single extra attack at a huge penalty doesn't seem worth it on the face of it. Maybe go with the repeater if you've twinked out on multi-fire stuff. But heck, I'd just see if I couldn't modify your big nasty rifle into a repeater then anyway.

It'll matter only for low-level play, really. As is pointed out in discussions about +1/+2 LA races, those small LA benefits (like a group of high abilities) become rather insignificant as the game progresses. So while I think it's still meaningful, it's not going to make a huge difference...

Those Lords of Madness, the Illithid and the Aboleth. They're both exceedingly cool and creepy. The aboleth hedges out the mind flayers just barely for me, because I have ocean-oriented fears.

So? I mean, if Crothian's games work out fine then I don't think it matters. A friend of mine just gives everyone straight 16's in all abilities. No LA, no big deal. Works out fine.

I either go with two sets of 4d6, drop lowest or (if the dice cheater is in the group) I have everyone use the Elite Array.
