WotC's Nathan Stewart: "Story, Story, Story"; and IS D&D a Tabletop Game?

This megacorp has (READ THIS CAREFULLY = IMO!) created six books and a starter Set, all top notch, which got our gaming society intrested in rpgs again.

WotC's Nathan Stewart: "Story, Story, Story"; and IS D&D a Tabletop Game?

Pure speculation! You have no idea if WotC care more or less for their product, fans or brand than Paizo. Paizo publish books to make money, and do it while enjoying it as well. They aren't a social service catering to every whim of their fan base. WotC is beginning to sound more like a made...

Staying in the Forgotten Realms... Thank God! My dream of regional books in one form or another is still alive. ALIVE!

D&D 5E Manufacturing Error - Princes of the Apocalypse

First rule on internet: Always show your displeasure in public. Especially if you are dealing with an Evil Empire like WotC. This is jackpot for the Paizo fans...

D&D 5E Why I love 5E - the renewal of Theater of Mind

No, not for combat. Have too many painted miniatures and Dwarven forge terrain for that. Everything else, indeed I do.

TotM is just not for some groups' combat, it is the whole gaming experience.

D&D 5E [Spoilers] Princes of the Apocalypse session report

I was actually going to run Tyranny of Dragons first but I still lack a source book for either the 5th ed. Realms or at least the Sword Coast (there is a substantial amount of travelling in large areas), hence I will jump on this campaign instead as soon as we finish LMoP. I was surprised you...

D&D 5E Why I love 5E - the renewal of Theater of Mind

Excellent post and though I have tons of miniatures and DF terrain, they get out only during combat when I DM. While I have little experience with 3E and none with 4E, 2nd ed was my thing, 5th has drawn me back to rpgs.

I would spend all day scouring forums like this, taking notes from all the business pros and doomsayers, and then just sit back and reap in the gold from self-selling rpg products...

Chris Perkins: Reintroducing Settings in Ways that Surprise People

No it doesn't! Look at GW as the prime example.

Chris Perkins: Reintroducing Settings in Ways that Surprise People

Oh, how I wish it was only once they did it. @ Umbran, yeah that is one way that would make moer people happy, even though for me what they do right now is quite sweet bar the lack of source books (one for the Sword Coast or FR would do nicely).

Chris Perkins: Reintroducing Settings in Ways that Surprise People

Adventure support slim? Maybe you mean one off adventures but considering the time elapsed between the two campaigns, there should be plenty of adventuring. True, they might not be to everyone's cup of tea, but the same could be said about single adventures. Or maybe you mean something else...
