And that may have changed with the advent of a new version of the game. Maybe there were some issues with the way things were translated in some countries, and rather than continue to let it go as it had in the past, Hasbro decided to keep it all in house. We don't know.

Is there a way to take a power from a different paragon path for the same class? Or would that be something you could accomplish with a swap power feat?

I've seen several references to a class using another classes paragon path (warlock taking divine oracle path, for example). How does this happen? Are you eligible for it if you take a multiclass feat?

Go for a breastplate, then. You'll still be moving at 30ft (presumably, since you're currently a large creature), and will get the extra point of AC... (whether the armor values make the medium armors worth it is another discussion entirely :D )
