I remember Scott Rouse pointing out that 4e was doing well on Amazon. I don't remember the actual spot.
Here where I live the 5e phb and Hotdq has been selling, this surpised me as I thought Pathfinder had killed D&D and taken it's stuff (locally speaking I mean)
Cancelled my pre-order to impulse buy it from the LGS. It would be interesting to know how many actual copies that were sold, unfortunately we'll never have those numbers.
So yeah the PHB had sold out at my LGS and they had to order more. I was out of town this weekend and stopped at a LGS in the Vancouver area (Langley) apparently 5e as been a hot seller for them as well as there are lots of gamers taking a look at the new game.

For good or I'll the man and his company have been around for a long time. Several gamers have played his games. My parents thought D&D was evil so they'd let me play TMNT, Heroes unlimited, and ironically Rifts.
Huh, I'm interested in the setting. The AGE system was kinda clunky when we tried it out. Hopefully they ironed out the kinks.
Also I don't see this as THAT big of news. A little bit of hyperbole from Green Ronin.
Ultimately if it brings people into the hobby that'll be a good thing.
