So with the new Kiss of Mephistopheles you no longer need to be hell-pact or even choose fireball as one of your hell-pact spells to get access to fireball? That is weird/interesting/nice. Maddening/relentless hex don't specify what "cursed by a warlock feature" means. Don't want to see...

I'd like to see the earth/stone sorcerer show up.....but not as a sorcerer. I've been craving a proper swordmage for a while. Maybe we'll get an "oath of the arcane" paladin subclass?

Maybe after Xanathar's guide comes out in November and drops the new subclasses?

I suppose Kelemvor and the doomguides (great band name) will figure prominently in this story. Possible Myrkul too since he won't like anyone muscling in on his territory. That new cleric domain (player version of death domain) could show up in an associated book.

What is the source of the zombies? Resurrection magic is failing/incomplete and causing zombies instead of fully returned individuals? Or those who were resurrected are devolving into zombies? Isn't resurrection high-level/rare enough to sort of limit this as a source of plague?

No it is more like an mmo adaptation of 4e.

This was a kickstarter stretch goal, not the main draw of OS2. But it would be funny if this ended up providing folks some of what sword coast legends failed to deliver.

I think the ranger should just prepare spells like the paladin with the same formula (with wisdom instead of charisma). The warlock and sorcerer should get 1 more spell known from levels 1-5. Bestow curse should be on the warlock list. I am cool with the sorcerer spells being assigned by...

Ceremony: atonement doesn't do anything since alignment has no mechanical effect in 5e (and it should stay that way!).

Oath of Redemption seems to make a very nice tank.

GladiusLegis notes this in his rogue guide...makes arcane trickster (or half-elf/high-elf with free cantrip) a great choice.

I actually meant the Geomancer as another class (besides the 1/2 caster gish) that I'd like to see. I agree that it wouldn't make a good basis for a gish.
