Lunar Madness Indeed, the simpleminded (albeit horribly evil) rat is in the fight of it's life. There is nowhere to hide, nor any other obvious recourse. Her intellect precludes the subtle. To the death! All of which is an overcomplicated way of saying, "Compress away!"

Moon Rat Attacks! Praying dimwittedly to the powers of darkness to prolong her string of luck, the rat tries to grab a mouthful of mutilated monkey-meat!

Attack! Badly outmatched by the hardier monkey, the moonrat desperately attack's the monkey's underbelly!

Moon Rat A seemingly normal rat enters the arena. How close to appropriate that appearance is depends on the phase of the moon. For now, intimidated by the charging monkey, the rat double-moves 30' north.

All the most fashionable alignments have been taken ... all the same, I'll take Chaotic Evil and see what I can do. Half of my reason for picking that alignment is because it lets me ask my favorite inane DnD question: 'So... What phase of the moon is it?'

Unarmed Really, I figured that it would be something like what Monte described, but at minimum a change in announced page count is worth noting, whether it is just more clarity in the rules or some added material. Just from Mike's teasing and such, I don't anticipate any shortage of good stuff...

16 more pages Also, on Monte's main page where he announced the new design diary, it was mentioned that IL has picked up 16 more pages. It will now be a 256-page hardcover rather than 240-page. I suppose that for most of us the true import of that information depends on what's in those 16...
