D&D 5E There is No Honor/Pirates of the Caribbean.

This sounds like terrific fun! I ran a Pirates of the Caribbean game using Skull and Bones d20 and we had a great time. As well as the Skull and Bones book from Green Ronin, I used the various Buccaneers and Bokor PDFs from Adamant Entertainment, and ICE’s Run Out the Guns! which had a cool...

    D&D 5E March's D&D Book To Be Announced On January 9th

Ok, my guess is that this is a tour of the Realms and beyond, including far-flung regions like Kara-Tur, Zakhara, Maztica, with added extraplanar and Spelljammer material! I don’t think it’s going to be the UA stuff we’ve been seeing as I think the timings are too tight.

    Worst Purchase Ever?

Yep, I played two fun characters using that book. I agree it was a bit bonkers! I think my worst purchases were Heroes of the Fallen Lands and Heroes of the Forgotten Kingdoms for D&D 4e. Unlike the Rules Compendium (awesome), the Monster Vault (also awesome, still use the counters now) and the...

Whispers of the Dark Daeva, new 1st-level Parsantium adventure, now available

Hi Are, Very glad you like Parsantium! I've got no plans to publish a 13th Age version of Whispers unfortunately. Hopefully it won't be too difficult to convert from 5e and I did include a sidebar on using the adventure with Icons of Parsantium. Tim Baker, who is a 13th Age player and GM...

Glad to see this stupid decision has been reversed, and hope you go ahead with the Starfinder Patreon - I'd be jolly interested in that one :)

    Dungeon Tiles Reincarnated

Yep, same here - I have loads but they are tricky to use, particularly if you are trying to build an irregularly shaped area like a cavern. I’m running the Sea of Moving Ice chapter of Rise of Tiamat at the moment and just about managed to create a small ice floe using the Icewind Dale tiles...

D&D 5E Read-along, zero preparation adventures: do they exist?

Hi there, Monte Cook has tried to tackle this very problem with his Weird Discoveries book for Numenera. There is also a similar book called Strange Revelations for The Strange. Each adventure is six pages and is designed to be run with only a few minutes prep. I’ve not run any of the...

    D&D 5E Let's Talk About Yawning Portal

Hi, I'm looking forward to picking this up next week. I'm fine with Dead in Thay taking up a fair bit of space as that's the only one of these adventures I've not read or played and it sounds pretty cool, and I haven't read Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan since the 80s. Not sure describing the...

Kobold Press' MIDGARD Campaign Setting For 5E & Pathfinder

Hi there, Thought I’d chip into this thread as one of the writers on the new campaign setting :) I’ve been a fan of Midgard since 2007 when I first got involved in Open Design with the Empire of the Ghouls project. As a patron I joined in the discussions on the adventure and underdark...
