    D&D in the classroom

Savage Worlds would be great for use in ESL because it forces characters to actually come up with tricks to obtain those precious bonuses to hit (they would have to actually describe their actions). For your 1 hour classes though I think you might want to look into Dungeon Slayers. It is a...

    What Makes a Deity?

If we are talking in D&D terms, they are the physical manifestation of their respective aspects. Furthermore, unlike other powerful beings, they thrive on souls and for whatever reason, they have become dependent on it. Because of this they have a need for mortals to represent them on the...

    Favourite Fantasy Settings

My favorite setting used to be FR and I still like it a lot. Looking for a new system!!!

You can't go wrong with Savage Worlds but I would like to direct your attention to the Framewerks system used in CthuluTech. The rules are light and just under 100 pages. There are 49 skills, only 6 of which deals with combat. It really depends on playstyle. You can make it as combat...

    Agricola

It looks interesting but the price turns me off though the price seems justified (lots of components).

"last night on earth" or "zombies!!!" ?

I'm not really a fan of zombie games but I had to get LNoE after seeing a Buffy conversion. Besides the above statement, there are 2 things that I really liked abou the game. One is the characters. Each character is unique. The other is the scenerios. Scenerios extend the gameplay.
